Have to think so.

At his size his skill level needs to be through the roof and it just isn't. 4 points in 9 games at the AHL level, for a guy with a full Season under his belt is just a very poor performance.

Starting to look like a terrible pick especially when you watch Tim Erixon and Markus Johansson play (the next 2 picks). Johansson in particular just looks fantastic.

He caught my eye a number of times at the game the other night, not just for his offensive flare but also his work on the PK.

As Schroeder fell from his one-time #5 overall pre-draft ranking (!) on draft day, I hoped that the Canucks wouldn't be the one to finally pick him. Too small, and not skilled or gritty enough to overcome his pint-sizedness.

I was hoping they would pick John Moore (offensive defenceman), however Columbus selected him the pick before the Canucks.

So far, Schroeder looks like he will have to ply his trade in Europe if he wants to play hockey for a living. You never know, he may turn things around... but I'm not holding my breath.

What is happening with Rodin? I looked at the link to his stats (pats SC on the back) and it seems he has played 3 games for the wolves...so has he just been in the press box the rest of the time? If so why is he with the wolves if he isn`t going to play? Has he returned to europe?

Rodin played just last night (0 points, -1, 2 shots), however for the most part he has been parked in the press box.

There are a couple of older, non-Canuck players ahead of him (Michael Davies, Tim Miller, etc), so it is a bit of a drag.

Hopefully he can show MacTavish that he deserves to be in the lineup, but for now he is a 13th forward, or worse. And with the Wolves struggling to score goals, they'll probably rely on veterans until the scoring comes around...

Thanks S_C.

I`m not sure how to feel about this...can he not go back to the SEL and get playing time? Why is he over here to sit in the press box? It makes no sence to me. Hopefully he draws into the line up and starts earning some minutes soon, as SC aluded to.

I'm wondering if Rodin is still be bothered with the shoulder injury ?

Friezen (over age ) a point a game, Jensen point+ / game as an 18 year old.

The sleeper to me is Corrado, I grinned when the Vcr management signed him right away in the propsects camp. Very solid great positioning and like Tanev, Mr Cool
cheers
