Re: Byfuglien arrested for drunk boating, also got fat

My apologies to Sir Charles...he's only 48.

Seriously though, compare the two. Barkley might even be in better shape. His boobies are defnitely less pointy.

Re: Byfuglien arrested for drunk boating, also got fat

The guy is fat folks. He has boobies, a belly and big fat kid cheeks. He is a big, dumb fatty. If you don't think this is affecting or will affect his career you're delusional. At some point his skill won't be able to mask the fact that he's just plain lazy and unprofessional. I can't understand how...

Re: NHL in Tacoma

Levin was in Bellevue in July looking at potential arena sites. Apparently he has some interest in building an NHL calibre arena in the Seattle area, but this seems to be a long way away from happening (if at all). Apparently Bellevue has shown a lot of interest in having an NHL team, while the city...

Re: Canucks sign right wing Victor Oreskovich

The reason I want to see Winchester given a shot here is because we have a team that lacks size and toughness on essentially all four lines as well as our defence. Winchester is potentially a guy who can play a regular 4th line shift and will definitely make us a bigger, tougher team. I don't think ...

Re: Canucks sign right wing Victor Oreskovich

I agree Blob, while Oreskovich seems like a promising young player he really is missing some attitude which I think will hold him back. He's a big, speedy, physical player. Now, if he were a big, speedy, physical player who was also an asshole he'd be a gem. I suspect he'll spend most of the year in...

Re: Winchester to sign with VAN

I have been a proponent of signing this big SOB. A big, tough, physical guy who can play. He would be absolutely ideal on our fourth line. Why he hasn't been offered a contract by GMMG, I do not know. I don't get it. I seriously doubt a guy who doesn't have a contract in early September would be hag...

Byfuglien arrested for drunk boating, also got fat

So Byfuglien is starting off his career in Manitoba on the right foot. First, he gets arrested for boating while impaired and then refuses giving blood and urine samples. Apparently this can potentially affect his ability to enter and work in Canada. http://sports.nationalpost.com/2011/09/02/arrest-...

Re: Marc Savard out for, well, forever

Matt Cooke was an exciting player at one point. He was fun to watch third line energy player who could put up a few points. At some point, probably about the 2003/04 season, his style of play became more than a little irritating to me and I was happy when he was sent out of town. The cheap shots, tu...

Re: Wade Belak found dead in his condo

Apparently "non-suspicious death" is the new term for suicide.

I was wondering if he off'd himself given it didn't appear as though they were waiting for autopsy or toxicology results.

I cannot imagine the pain one must be going through in order to even contemplate suicide. RIP

Re: The Strange Case of Keith Ballard

A lot was made of Ballard's rough season last year. It seemed as though everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Seriously, how often do you see an athlete in any sport have to battle through three significant injuries in one year and have a successful season? For much of the year I thought KB4...

Re: The Power Forward

I was relatively high on Oreskovich last training camp, but aside from being a good hitter he is softer than than a figure skater out there. He's freaking huge, and watching him stand there while some of our guys were being bitch slapped around by the Bruins in the finals was embarrassing. Unless th...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

They are all crying in their hockey bags over the rumour of Peter "some kind of terrible' Loubardias being let go by sportsnet. The amount of people there who think his voice, let alone his play calling, was close to acceptable is astounding. Some kind of homerism for sub par quality. The first tim...

Unless we acquire another T4D, I think there is zero chance Ballard gets traded now that Ehrhoff is gone. We have the cap room and need the depth.

Re: Hansen goes to Arbitration

Higgins is actually the guy I can easily see having a fantastic couple of seasons if he stays healthy. He has good talent and compliments Kesler so well that it may be difficult to split them up. He had a 50 point season only 3 years ago and the one before that he was at that pace. Other than that ...

Re: Cam Janssen?

I agree. AV hardly plays his fourth line, except Lapierre. Instead of wasting cap space on Janssen, I would rather waste it on someone like MacIntyre. At the very least, he can take care of guys like Eager and Carcillo... With the Malhotra injury, and how poorly he was in the faceoff circle in the ...
