I would love to see the Penguins move to seattle, they have been a favorite franchise of mine (beside the canucks) since the Jagr and Lemieux. And now you have first rounders like Malkin, Crosby, Staal, and Fleury, they soon carry on the dynasty that once existed. And the best part would be i could ...

We will not see anybody from the Moose called up or even Green or Linden take his place when we have Chouinard, heck we even have another centre with a one-way contract. What was his name......oh ya, Santala

Did anyone ever collect the 93-94 hockey POGs? That was the only thing i seriously collected as a child, but i was only 6 or so, so it may have been something that only appealed to the POG generation, seeing is it was only made for one year. I got a great collection of the canucks tho

The only place I ever purchased them was in GM place in "Authentix." I fear as though they have been discontinued

While on the topic of Canuck merchandise, did anyone ever collect the plaques? The hockey cards with the plastic protective casing that was screwed onto the wood plaque with the gold name caption. I've collected them since a kid, have 10 of them now but have not seen them around since the 03-04 seas...

About time to call up Reid?

Brandon Reid returned to Manitoba from the Spengler Cup today (jan 4th) with a Silver medal. He posted 3 points in 5 games with 8 stitches and one less tooth, and was a large contribution to Team Canada's success. Before leaving for the spengler cup he also had 5 goals in his last 5 games with the M...

I dont think Pyatt will ever create space like Bertuzzi did. Bertuzzi was such a superstar that he always had a matchup against the other teams best defender, and managed to still attract another player to take him off the puck where as I doubt Pyatt will ever outmatch a franchise defenseman, I woul...

I remember about 4 years back when he played a game for Vancouver (I can't remember who we faced). He took a sprint from the defensive zone into the attack zone and jumped into the air to absolutely nail a player, then turned around and beat the shit out of the biggest guy who had a problem with it,...

Re: Yannick Tremblay - wow

Yannick Tremblay This guy made a huge impact offensively last night. It was nice to see some flow and shots from the point on the PP. Looks like he's got something to prove. I was stunned to find his contract only $450,000 - wow. Why didn't this guy make the team in Sept? I remember people freakin ...

TSN reported today that Darcy Tucker threw a tantrum during practice and hit one of his own teamates a litttle too hard into the boards. The leaves have been struggling defensively majorly and are still excelling in the scoring aspect, seems our problem is opposite, a defensive for offensive trade w...

We Need A Trade!!!

I know this is on everyones mind so I thought I would start a thread. The canucks desperately need to find a forward with finish. I am sure we are all sick of this only putting the puck in the net only every 15 shots. It is going to take a lot more than this to shake me off of the Canucks, but I am ...

Jesse Schultz Recalled

Dave Nonis anounced monday that they have recalled right winger Jesse Schultz from the Manitoba Moose. In the AHL this season he has 7 goals, and 7 assists to combine for 14 points in 19 games. Will he be able to generate anything offensively in the NHL?
