That's not the first time I've heard that, Eddy. I think 'The Wire' is more of a guy show.
I'll let you know how my wife likes it. I'm referring to the show of course.

All I can really say is that this Chris Hansen dude is a total cockblocker.
Last night saw him catching dishonest tradesmen.

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

with both A Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad between seasons, I'm hunting for the next thing to watch. DL'd a couple Walking Dead episodes but we still have some left over Nurse Jackie and Burn notice on the back burner. (which reminds me, i think i should be Sam Axe for Halloween). I should really ...

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

That scene with Guss looking over the wall of the parking garage and Mr White freaking out was incredible. Not just the best show on TV but perhaps one of the best shows ever made. The ending did not dissapoint. Gus' exit from Hector's room drove that home. Gus was so slick and clever. It was almos...

Re: Topper's Grilling Advice!

On the weekend we picked up a bundle of fresh herbs they called "poultry mix". We were rushing around shopping and didn't look too closely at it. When we get it home we find that it is a blend of Sage, Tarragon and Italian Parsley. I get the sage, but since when are the other two herbs considered t...

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

Game of Thrones as well for me. just starting the series and have now begun with the audiobook. Ive seen it described as Lord of the Rings meets The Sopranos. For the Medieval setting, yes, but its more like historical War of the Roses set in the Lord of the Rings world. Breaking Bad is excellent as...

Re: Home Construction Discussion

I'm in the process of designing and building a bar in my basement. I'm looking at something tropical - like a Tiki bar. So, it'll have a lot of bamboo in it, grass paper, etc. I'll post a picture of it when I'm done. To me, the most important part is what you serve and the company you keep. Here's ...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

Ponoka seems like a good description for that place after last year. I had to stop visiting during the playoffs last year when their complaints about diving went so far overboard that a poster actually got upset about a Sedin deliberately passing the puck toward the Sharks bench during a line change...

Hey - nothing but the best for our newcomers. Now... if you choose to turn into a shantytown, we might have to fumigate.
Its all good. The shanty is just temporary of course. Won't take too long to get settled in here.
