Re: The Power Forward

So why'd MG let Torres go again? ...gotta wonder about that one. We scored 7 goals in the finals and Raffi got a GWG in there. There's a hole on our 3rd line and I have no idea who will fill it. Clam, couldn't agree more, but I remember reading one of HW's posts that said that the team felt he was ...

Re: Cam Janssen?

Hi Weinerdog ! I did not want a scrub like Janssen at all. Dude is just a garbage player. I wanted both Rupp and Winchester as I believe this team needs a couple guys who are tough and physical and both of those cats can play too. Rupp signed for 1.3 for three years. I don't know why Eyebags wouldn...

Ha, no kidding.

Truth is, I've learned to trust Gillis' instincts, and if he sees something in Herr Marco, I'll give the guy a fair shake.

Re: Cam Janssen?

Rather than adding toughness, I'd rather see Gillis go after a sniper. Get someone who doesn't require 3 pretty passes before hitting the open net. All through the playoffs, there wasn't one time I saw a open Canuck get in on a breakaway that excited me. Watching Raymond use his speed to get open o...

Re: The Power Forward

Samuelsson is a power forward about once every 19 games . Hits (per game) for Vancouver forwards 2010-11 regular season: Kesler 124/82 Tambellini 113/62 According to this, Tambellini was a more prolific hitter at 1.82 hits per game than Ryan freaking Kesler was at 1.51 What's wrong with that picture?

Re: Western Conference In/Out Thread

I'm seeing CHI doing nothing more than basically trying to hold down the fort. As someone else mentioned, it looks like they're aiming to be a "lesser" post-season threat while they assess their up-and-comer's, and to see if Crawford can keep it up. Bowman appears to have let Campbell go simply to f...
