The Vancouver Canucks assigned forward Jonathan Lekkerimaki to the AHL's Abbotsford Canucks on Wednesday, with the 19-year-old missing out on Sweden's roster for the 2024 IIHF World Championship.

I did not expect a lopsided result like this. The rest may indeed have hurt the Panthers. I expect them to come out next game flying.

We may have had 4 days off but the Oilers have had more so I see no advantage to either team there. Other than McDavid has had time to rest.

So much of this series will depend upon special teams. If we can stay out of the box we can play with them 5v5. If we get into penalty trouble I dont like our chances. Goaltending of course will be an issue for us without Demko. Maybe concern is a better word. Other than Demko we are pretty healthy....

I really like Boeser's game this season. The question is not what he earns now but what a new contract may look like. If we can get him for 6 years at 7 M I would keep him. But anything more than that I think we have to look twice and make some hard decisions.
