Personally I have little issue with the the original post, it's placement in the bar and grill or even it's message. My issue with it and this thread is the way it degraded and the disrespect in it's "tone". SRsez had a relatively intelligent and valid view point but it was lost amongst the boot sto...

Morrison is not day to day any longer. His wrist requires surgery. There is no report on the length of time he'll be out but it sounds like a while.

Big weekend for a sports fan

What to watch? Tonight we've got one of the most anticipated Canuck's games of the year as our boys face off against Sid the kid for the first time in Vancouver. Tomorrow afternoon the Unbeaten Pat's face a tough Stealers team after looking more than beatable in their last few games. Plus, if you pa...

In 124 career playoff games Trevor has 99 points. On top of that he's the active leader in game 7 goals. If that's not the definition of clutch then I don't know what is. Sounds clutch to me. The only thing he hasn't done is hoist that cup but an awful lot of good players can say the same. Come pla...

Hmm...wish I could be as optimistic as you guys. I see this as a tough game. The Preds have played us well, we have a habit of making backup's look like all-stars and we'll be tired after playing last night. I still think it will be close but 3-1 Preds with an empty net goal. Van goal by Isbister an...

It's such a shame to see the quality of posts and posters sink lower and lower. This used to be the best Canucks forum on the net but lately it's just sad. Many of the best informed and interesting posters are gone, the volume of posts seems at an all time low and the trolls seem to dominate the thr...

I like the way he plays but we've got a glut of guys just like him minus a little toughness. Brown can thow them. My question is why? If we expect him to take on the Boogie man we're dreaming. He'd be out of his league. The rest of the wild players are either soft or at best middle weight scrappers....

Hey L.I.G. it's nice to see that I'm not the only poor sap who has to work on Sunday night. I don't have the luxury of listening to the radio but I can check the scores online every now and then. I predict 2-1 Flames. Our goal by Kessler. Sorry bud, looks like you are. I got to bring my work at hom...

IMHO he's a good fit skill wise but don't know about chemistry wise. I really don't know much about him other than what I see a few times a year that the Nucks play him. He makes 4.5 this year and the next 3. To me that's not a huge hit this year but for an aging star past his prime I don't like the...

IMHO there are few minor areas of concern such as faceoffs, ability to clear the zone and decisions with the puck in the offensive zone. The bigger issue is the identity of the team. Last year they were a deffensive wall! From Luongo on out the team prided itself in keeping the puck out of the net. ...

I'm always excited about a Canuck's game! Look for a re-focus on D first tonight. This may mean less goals but a much better effort in our own zone. I say 2-1 Canucks with goals from Daniel and BMo. I just hope they don't take the Kings lightly as they've got some great weapons that can burn if not ...
