He didn't look too out of place today with a goal and an assist. Granted it was against the Danes.

Most appreciated? Luongo Least appreciated? Weaver Under appreciated? Gotta go Pyatt. Edler's name has come up and while I've got to agree that he's been great he's anything but under appreciated. Pyatt has been asked to produce points, check the other teams top units, stabilize a line with 2 rookie...

I was at the game last night and finally got to see them win for the first time in a long time. I usually only get to one game a year and it's been a loss for about 5 years running! As for the goal/no goal. From the replay on the big screen it looked like the stick got it. But the review took FOREVE...

And Tavares as the 13th forward, they shouldn't invited them as 16 year olds if they didn't have a chance of making the team. Tavares didn't make a impact in the summer super Series and isn't a impact here but did get two goals in the game verses the Czecks. There is a lot to be said for the experi...

If Kesler and Cowan come back, Jaffrey and Brown back to Moose land . Will Raymond stay or will he go too? I would imagine that Raymond will stay up as a replacement for Mo. We need the speed and the scoring potential. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that he can keep producing at the NHL level ...

It's all relative. Can I feel compassion for a man who has earned millions of dollars but his career and way of life have been changed due to a series of injuries? Sure I can and do. Do I feel MORE for a family getting by week to week who lose their house in a fire. Damn straight. But that doesn't m...

The guy was a solid second tier starter at the NHL level. He was a competator and always gave 100%. His major flaws were that he was brittle and just didn't have the talent to get us over the hump. It's a shame to see injuries shorten his time playing the game he loves and I feel for the guy in that...

Love it! Good job Turco. Not sure what he drives but maybe the Nucks can pimp Raymond's ride. Give him a How I Met Your Mother car. Maybe a nice portrait of Dougie Howser on the hood? :P

Well it was close and there was a real effort by the boys but MAN those Oil are good in the shoot out.

All signs point to an Oiler victory but my gut tells me otherwise. If the Canucks of the last two years have been anything it's resilient. At worst I'd expect a better effort from the Nucks and a close game. At best a 3-2 victory.

Go Canucks!

Bart, if losing is 0 points... is a win 2 points regardless? I have not thought much about it cuz regardless of what makes sense, the NHL will fuck it up or do what ever Toronto, Philadephia or Chicago deems correct. Yep 2 points for a win no matter what. But since that will never happen I'd accept...

OK two points here: 1) Kesler isn't the next Iginla but he is an emerging star and we are lucky to have him on our team. He's a shut down player with game breaking speed, flashes of offensive skill and he makes the players on his line better. Respect. 2) I don't care if they are a BIG company or not...

Got to agree with BigBert here. Don't reward losing no matter if it was in regulation, OT or shootout. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. Having some games award 2 points to the participating teams and some award 3 just doesn't sit well with me. But I guess this won't change anytime soon so I shou...

Considering the injuries, illnesses, schedule and our prolific numbers of bottom 6 players I'm not surprised by games like this. The thing that has impressed me thus far this season is how the team battles back. No need to panic. It just makes for boring TV.

Injuries aside this was going to be a tough game. The schedule is brutal right now and the Sharks and Big Joe have given our boys fits!

I expected a weak effort and a dull game but this is too much. I might just have to shut er down and crash early.
