I don't want to start second guessing AV too much. There's a reason he's behind the bench and I watch from the couch. But...this is such a no brainer. Forget all the sentiment, Linden has proven with his play this season that he's more valuable than Cowan, Isbister, Brown etc. I understand rotating ...

Nazzy and BMo are no longer the core of this team and while I agree that it's time for some change I just don't know if that's realistic to expect. We might feel that they are underproducing for their pay because we've seen them give so much more but the reality is that they are not that far off the...

The way Naslund is playing I would have to agree he is getting run pretty good and no one does jack to help. I would gladly have given more than a 6th for Jody Shelley. Isn't this the reason we picked up Cowan from L.A.? To protect his mates? He's willing but just doesn't have the tools to actually...

Cooke plus a 2nd might be a bit of an overpayment in my mind. Merek would be an upgrade on Weaver but he's not a top 4 D at this point in his career. Maybe a change of scenery would get him back to where he was but perhaps not.

OK time for some optimism. Luongo's shaken off the rust from his time off and should be geared up for a big performance against his old team. The kids did well on the back end last night and I'd expect more of the same tonight. Linden should draw in for....Cowan :o so if it goes to a shoot out it's ...

Cowan. Why again?

I know he had a strong run of games last year and a few bra's hit the ice but can someone please explain to me why he isn't being waved of planted in the box on a semi permanent basis? He doesn't have the skill set to generate more than the occasional token point. He isn't a very effective checker. ...

That was painful to watch. The injuries are really catching up to them now. They don't have the tools to play a shutdown game with all the D out of the lineup. They don't have the talent to open it up at all. Might be a while before they get the bodies back to turn it around. If you've got to find a...

I'm still cheesed that Loungo decided not to play, but on the other hand , looking at the big picture, he could use the couple days rest as the Canucks play him most every night. Uhh yah that's the big picture here. :? Never mind the pregnant wife living on the other side of the continent with comp...

I'm hoping it means Miller will be out but if Elder left with spasms :(

Does anyone know why Bourdon wasn't recalled? Is he injured or has his play slipped?

McIvar Recalled

Another Moose makes his way to the big club. Guess this means Ohlund won't be back soon. The kid had such a good camp and a solid start to the year with the Moose. It's good to see him collect an NHL paycheck!

If it was the other way around and Blake had suckered Downie I could see the argument for no suspension. It would still be borderline but I could see it. But it wasn't Blake it was Downie. The prior record of the offender has to come into the equation. Campbell didn't miss an opportunity to send a m...

Where to start? There are a lot of little items rolling around in this thread. Hmm... 1) Rome is an acquired taste. It took me a while but I've come to enjoy his style and the broad range of topics/sports covered on his show. He gets some of the best guests around and some of his interviews are pure...
