If that's the type of contract it will take to keep Kessler here for another few years then I'd be happy. Let's just hope that between now and then there aren't too many stupid contracts handed out to comparable players.

... but if they will give us Jokinen and Horton for the Sedin's and Bieksa, I would probably take it (and keep Mo/Nazzy). Personally I doubt they make this deal and I wouldn't want it either. Having said that I wonder outside of the twins what would it take to get Jokinen here. Our first in this dr...

Re: Lets build the team around Linden!

IMO Linden has at least one more season in him. If he had as much playing time as Nazy or the Sedins...Harsh maybe? But Im entitled to my opinion. So lets here some feedback guys. You are entitled to your opinion and you are also entitled to be wrong. I love the big guy as much as my wife, without ...

Hmmm...I'd have to say it was a few of those choices. 1) A huge disappointment. They backed their way out of the playoffs in spectacular fashion. 2) What we should have expected. When you can't score what do you expect? 3) A waste of Luongo. Any year without a deep run will be a waste of his talent....

For me you can add the automatic instant even up call when there is a dive. Granted sometimes the original trip/hook takes place and the player sells it and both go off but why is it almost automatic that both get penalties? If the guy dives gives him the call only. That's how you take the dives out...

Re: BMo done for the season

That's what I was thinking when they said he wouldn't be back....who knows, maybe he'll return - teams lie too much at this point in the season to take anything too seriously. We can hope. But if they were going to go that route the old lower body injury claim would likely have come out. Such a spe...

Could this have been his last game as a Canuck? Looking at who is available as an UFA next year I don't know how Nonis can upgrade at Center.

Update. Sportsnet is now reporting that he has left the team to attend the birth but they hope to have him back in time for the Wild on Friday. I know it's a critical game but prying him away from his wife and child at that time could lead to the same lack of focus that has kept him from being his n...

This is really going to throw a wrench into how AV is working the lines. Pretty much makes us a one trick pony again with both him and Raymond out.

I admit I have not read any details about their private life, but has she ever lived here? Bartman, I'm also in a pissy mood; I'll even attack Luu's wife. :? I really am a Canucks fan. I don't know for sure if she has ever lived here. I'll admit that. I never doubted you were a Canucks fan :...

What's so strange about it? From what I understand she was she has had a very difficult pregnancy that has seen her on bed rest and in a wheelchair from time to time. With her husband on the road 1/3rd of the time and her entire support network of family and friends in Florida it only makes sense fo...

OK I am hoping for 3 things out of this game.

1) A regulation win!
2) That the Sportsnet HD broadcast starts at the opening face off (pvr'ing the game and don't want to miss anything)
3) A regulation win!

Prediction: 4-2 Canucks. Goals from Kessler, Naslund, Daniel and Shannon.

From reports that I've heard Nonis' offer was: Bourdon, Schneider, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd dp (this according to 1040) for Richards. I read somewhere that Raymond is included but not that many picks (only a 1st round) Just as bad IMO maybe even worse as Raymond looks like a sure fire NHL'er and a 2 or 3rd ...
