Thanks, Todd.

Sounds older and wiser than I expected.
Doesn't seem like anyone's gonna fuck mess around with this guy's head.
Boy, he sounds like the Sedins when he talks.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Sounds like Pettersson likes his Fort Nite. He should get along with Joulevi & Jake just fine. :P

Trymankin and Stetcher made a good pairing. Just saying.
I actually thought about a Hughes-Tryamkin pairing. *hehe*

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Also Looch will have to be protected in the expansion draft, Loui not. After the xpanson draft then. :D Why? They are the same player. As in overpaid, and on the decline. Even worse, Luci has one year more on his contract than Loui. But Meh. I guess it's not hard to change that deafeningly quiet "L...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

I'd also look for any suitor to take on Eriksson. That guy has some ability and would compliment a good team. The Canucks are not good. Also, they don't seem to utilize Loui in the best way (net front presence on the PP like on Bos and Dal). Anyway, maybe Loui gets to be net front on PP2 this year....

Re: When will the Canucks Next make the playoffs

Two scoring lines for other teams to cover, Juolevi much better & readier than expected, Better goalie prep. 92-94 points in a sweat hog division, maybe, just maybe. - 2 scoring lines is possible. 1st line is pretty good with Baertcheesse-BoHo-Brockster. If Petterson can have a strong rookie year l...

Nope. Dipietro will be the next Brodeur. No Dahlen, Petterson, Horvat, Boeser, Lind, Hughes, Juolevi, Demko, Tanev, Gaudette, Woo, Gadjovich, Stecher, Pouliott, 2019 1st, 2020/21 1sts or 2nds. No Baertschi, Beaglet, Roussel, Scballer or Jasek. Jon Dahlen - next Ulf Dahlen Petterson - next P.Forsber...

Friedman has Vancouver linked to Karlsson. Oh boy! Get we done Jim!
Boy, hope the Aquas learned from Cheezeburgler Nonis, DO NOT trade top young talent. No matter what.

Re: Francesco Ballard

Proof my dear friend. Gags could not prove anything. Yeah, looking @ Mick's document, McCammon can just say that they liked the deal they had in place with the Aquas, that deal was offered to Gags & Co multiple times, but Gags kept counter-offering. Gags had every opportunity to take that offer, so...

It could so easily have been different. http://www.cbc.ca/bc/news/bc-080110-canucksdecision.pdf Interesting document, thnx for posting Mick Water boy wanted to accept the last offer and Stan McCammon convinced him to leave the group of three and bow out, and begin secret negotiations behind the bac...

Re: Francesco Ballard

Todd, that would be Luigi. The Aqua Boys are just his puppets. Hmm... maybe Luigi got tired of Trevor farting around all the time with the same old, oh we'll play the young guys this year. Trev has been doing/saying this for 3 years. Trev is a nice guy and all, but where are the results? I mean at ...

Re: Francesco Ballard

I've heard it speculated that some think the patriarch of the family, big Daddy Aqua-man still has a lot of power and say in their enterprises, no different with the Canucks. The bros just do what he says/wants and Francesco takes the heat if things go badly. It this is true, then old man Aqua would...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

I always thought of Edler as a poor man's Lidstrom. He's prob more physical than Lidstrom, but Lidstrom is way more skilled and smart all around. At one point, I thought Edler would become way better than Matty Ohlund, but at this point I'd say Ohlund was a better player. Is it because they're both...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

Alex Edler's skills emanate a Stanley Cup championship play: - big, Eddie is a Rob Blake sized 6'3 - 215lbs after a pound of spaghetti. Eagle is the epitome of a top 4 dman, and we can thank Green/Baumer/Brown on this as they really wanted him back at his 2011 workhorse play. I always thought of Ed...
