Re: Ryan Walters

Yup, Walters is going to be a huge plus on the team. He's going to save the souls of most of the players and managment. They'll have prayer meetings and sing Kumbaya before every game. :P

Woot Cliff is coming back this year? That line kind of reminds me of a line Cliff had back in the day: Mommeso-Ronning-Sandlak

u guys think Cory should be our backup next year? Or give him one more year in the minors and sign another Sandford/Sabourin kind of guy?

I wouldn't mind giving Cory another year in the minors, so he plays alot.

I agree with most of the posters here. I feel more comfortable taking a guy who has some experience with a hockey club (ie assistant GM) over an agent. A GM has has alot of ppl working under him and has to make some important decisions. The agent only servers a client and all he does is try to get t...

Re: Aquilini and leadership

I think Aqua-man had no choice. Rumours broke out that he was questioning whether to keep Nonis, so rather than let things get out of hand, he made the announcement official. He was probably talking to a few candidates, so word got out. I just hope they get a good hockey man because the Nucks have a...

Any chance the Pens will move Malken? Do they have enough room (salary and ice time) for two elite superstars on their roster?

Sedins and Bieska for Malkin.

I wouldn't mind seeing our gentle giants play with the Sedins as well. Someone with some size who can plant himself in front of the net to open some room for them and finish off the occasional Sedin garbage. Pyatt has done a good job there at times, but Nasi gets thrown in there alot. At the beginni...

Yeah... I think the Canuck's drafting wasn't that great in the past, but it seems to be getting better. They got Bieska with a mid pick too and he turned out to be a gem. Mason Raymond is looking lilke a good one too.

I really liked Jeff Cowan last year... he was really gritty and scored a few goals. I thought he had untapped potential; however, this year has been a different story. He's always injured, he's not really a heavy weight and he just doesn't seem to be doing much out there. Hopefully, he can stay heal...

Hey: that was the guy I saw climbing the light pole on Robson back in 94. He was wearing that jersey back then and he started the riot. He's at it again in Kenya. He must travel the world starting crap... he's the devil I tell ya. :D

It's a long season. Every team will go through its slump and even Lou will have some stretches with some crappy games.

I have been happy with Pyatt and Edler, but I have been pleased with Aaron Miller too. He struggled a bit early on, but he has been pretty steady lately. He just quietly goes about his job and plays a solid defensive game.

Yeah... the way Ritchie set up Bourdon there looked like Kaberle feeding McCabe. Boy, don't want to jinx the kid, but if he can get to McCabe's level that would be really something.
