Re: Going forward ?

With no particular pairings: Sedin/Sedin/Pyatt (8.725) Raymond/Wellwood/Pettinger (2.88) Burrows/Kesler/Cowan (2.958) Hordichuk/Johnson/XX (1.9) update with signing of Bernier: Sedin/Sedin/Bernier Raymond/Wellwood/Pyatt Burrows/Kesler/Pettinger Hordichuk/Johnson/Cowan The issue still is legitimate ...

I don't think you can go over as much as you want...I think it's like 7% or something like that. (Anyone know?) Taken from nhlscap For the 2008-09 season, the Upper Limit of $56.7 million is a hard cap - the 7.5% allowance is not allowed, and thus no team can carry over any overage to the 2009-10 s...

Re: **UNOFFICIAL** Gillis to give Fillipula offer sheet rumo

I vote 'YES' - and for 4 million+. Canucks have a ridiculous amount of cap space. USE IT. At the expense of a 1st, 2nd and 3rd picks ? Up to 3.9M the Wings are comped a 1st & 3rd rounder. If Gillis was only offering Backes 2.6M, unless he "learned" from his first offer, I can't see this offer being...

Looks like a replacement for Brad Moran of the Moose who went to Sweden.

Age, height & weight a wash with Moran. Moran put up better numbers.

One fans POV

Has the roller coaster ride ended ? For sure Nux fans have to have the life support system nearby these days. It seems the grieving period starting with the season ending collapse, through the Bourdon tragedy and now the dark cloud hanging over draft day acquisitions and free agency, is continuing. ...

Also after hearing what Naslund had to say about the lack of quality players he had to play with and throwing his mates under the bus like that he can beat it as far as I'm concerned. A very classless move on his part. Maybe if he played like a 6 million dollar player he could make others better in...

Those were only the A list players....there were alot of other guys who may have fit in nicely. Don't kid yourself too, we easily could have brought in Neidemeyer, just the expense of Markus. And Arnott at 4.5 long term could have been done. With respect to Niedemeyer, wasn't Jovo still here ? I kn...

2.5ish?
Depends...are you talking second line center ?

And who's left ?

Going in Mo was one of a few in his category.

Also would depend on length. Some teams may be wanting to see if his injury has fully healed and if he can get through a full season again.

Go to TSN and watch the video about the Naslund signing, he says he signed with the Rags because he felt he could win a cup with them. And as teams go, the Rangers certainly aren't the worst. I'd say they're in the top 10 for cup contenders this year. Thx, level. A cup contender ! Interesting that ...

Now that some of the pieces are falling (Naslund) or not falling (Sundin), Mo's position is looking stronger. (remaining a Nuck)

Having said that, an original offer of 1.9 would be incentive to me to get outta Dodge.

Hopefully the other offers recognize his worth and he gets paid accordingly.

And Naslund says he went their because he thinks they can win the cup? Not sure where you heard he said he wanted to go to NY to win the Cup. While I'm sure most players want to win the Cup, Naslund was quoted as saying he wanted to go to NY, if given the opportunity because it was a once in a life...

Best of luck to you Markus.

To those who wanted him gone...you got your wish.

To those who wanted him to stay at 2.5 - 3

Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side.
