The book is not written on Juolevi, Grasshopper

Re: Canucks Young Guns

My issue is the gaping hole on the back end. If you could shore up a massive weakness from a position of strength, why the fuck wouldnt you? Because its not a "position of strength" if you let Boeser go Who replaces him?????? Bingo. We're not exactly stacked at forward. Columbus could afford to mov...

Skyo can’t handle a rebuild
Skyo loves his trades. He should be focused on who's leaving.

Might be able to get JT Miller thanks to cap, hf If we have the option to move Callahan's contract, that would be Plan A over trading Miller. I think we're going to have to trade Miller too though, and I'm not expecting a huge return. Some western team is gonna get a gift. Or maybe the Senators, un...

Re: OOTS 2018-2019

He tuned the piss out of Prout after that. Still the toughest imho until someone takes it away from him. Wilson isn’t a good fighter but he hits like a bus And I think that makes him more dangerous if you're an opponent (you can't turtle if he scrambles your noodle!). There's also the fact that, un...

Re: OOTS 2018-2019

Caps vs Pacific division elite Knights was the game of the night, topped off with a heavyweight battle of Reaves knocking out (bodycheck wise) Wilson. Love the talk from the Capitals coach, lets call the kettle black. It was a late hit but nothing more than Wilson has done countless times. Hope Wil...

Notwithstanding the above, I definitely think JB is getting better at trades and particularly like the Burrows and Hansen moves. He got decent value for Vanek on an expiring contract. I like the Leivo deal and hopefully we continue to see this upward trend. Yep. He made some rookie mistakes trying ...

Loui Eriksson for Kovalchuk going down in about two days, just have to wait for both parties to waive their clauses, win/win trade.
Do 35+ deals only affect the team the signs the contract?

Fuck Paddy that vid is depressing. I still think Linden had some input there. They didn’t even interview Tkachuk. His dad used to smack Trevor around back in the day. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trevor held a grudge. I would Love to ask Trevor over a beer or 2 if he was being honest about the whole ...

Re: The Great Jim Benning Debate!

Patience, traditionally the D take longer to develop. We will find what we need, whether it's by developing or potentially making a move! Yeah, eventually we will get there. It's not rocket science, and it's not rebuilding retooling on the fly, but drafting and developing has served many teams well...

I thought you’d be gowed up at the Legion pounding on a table for the waitress to refill your pitcher of draft and deciding on chicken tenders or the double burger for lunch. Salad or fries? Your wife is giving you the stink eye and wonders why you’ve gone to the bathroom four times in the last hou...
