I think voting for Rory is stupid, I'd rather see Canuck fans take this chance to vote in a guy like Salo or even Bieksa who have performed admirably for the Nucks and don't recieve the kudos they deserve, things like this make me shake my head... I'm guessing you were always the downer at parties?...

Lets get Rory Fitzpatrick into the all-star game...UPDATE!!!

http://www.voteforrory.com/ Just thought I would pass this along...a bunch of fans are banding together and trying to hijack the voting for the All-Star game to get in our own RORY FITZPATRICK to the game. The voting for the all-star game is usually a farce, with players getting in based on populari...

I swear this guy just starts these inflammatory type posts to get a reaction. And why else would he have a picture of Messier holding the cup after the most heartbreaking moment in the history of this franchise? If you are a Messier fan, fine, then post a picture of him hoisting one of the four othe...

I think he deservest to be there, but at the same time I am glad that he isn't.
The less fanfare and publicity and hype for Salo, the less value he has come this summer when it is time to resign him.

Re: Few more tidbits

-To clear cap space, I'd also try and move Kesler. Unlike Morrison and/or Cooke (who are also overpaid), it would be easier to move Kesler due to his potential...and young age. I know many will disagree with me on here, but Kesler is a dime a dozen Him being here for 1.9 mill is crazy IMO. Kesler c...

Reid would also get a vote from me, but then he isn't exactly lighting it up in Winnipeg these days. That is an understatment. In 7 games with the moose this season he has 0 goals, 1 assist and is a -4. He has seriously regressed after his seasons in Europe. Reid deserves a shot with the big club a...

I agree with MCP. Once February hits, send him to the Moose ASAP and let him log some big minutes. And then next year maybe let him spend a year in the AHL before letting him make the big jump. A year in the AHL does wonders. No sense rushing prospects that have as much potential as Bourdon does. N...

Re: Drafting in the salary cap age.

I had this conversation this weekend with some friends. With the salary cap now in effect - I would argue teams should lean heavily towards forwards when drafting. If the adage that defencemen take longer to mature is true, then why would you chose a d-man? Generally, you could say forwards can mee...

I've said it before, this is a rebuilding year and as such we should be looking hard at guys like Bourdon and Edler. Put them in and leave them in 10 to 12 minutes a game, they're going to make mistakes but that's how people learn. Let Bowness explain the mistakes when they come off the ice and the...

quit babying bourdon and acting like hes a liability. Let him play. Hes way better than most of our defenceman. He made a couple mistakes early in the season because of the way they treated him. In the limited ice time in the last few games you can see a big improvement. Let him play 25 mins tonigh...

Speaking of work ethic, I think that is one of the problems with the Flames. The 2003-2004 team had tons of work ethic and grit. And combined with the rodeo hockey they played (hooking, holding, interference) that lead to their Stanley Cup run. This years team seems a bit more talented, but they sur...

I agree.

If you are Messier fan, how about ANY other picture of him than him holding the cup after they had just beat Vancouver in game 7?

What off the mark things have you said about Reid and Fedorov? How about all of them? Well for one you were the biggest grandstander for both players Excuse me Harold, but I was a bigger fan of those two players than Clam was.... Clam just agreed with me.... :D Regarding Fedor Fedorov, it was Burke...
