If we can get a minimum of 4 points from Edmonton, and rally together for a while I think we can make eighth, though I doubt we will last more then 5 games against Detroit in the playoffs.

Seahawks, only because I think they want it more, but I am not sure about Alexander. If he isn't 100% it will be a tough game for them. I'm just glad that the Patriots aren't in the finals this year.

Definately, but only for a goalie. Using that extra cap space on a forward would be the biggest waste of picks and money in Canucks history. We are solid through all four lines. If worst came to worst, and there was no way for us to aquire a goalie, then I would want a nice big stay at home defensem...

I think he just wants to pad his stats, seeing it is a contract year. But in a not so harsh way, it may also be because he doesn't want to look like he did at the end of game 7 against Calgary. A complete idiot for taking ridiculous penalties. At least he isn't taking himself out of the game because...

I feel the game is about on par with last season. I like some of rule changes, and it is nice to see clutching and grabbing slowly leaving the game, and more scoring is always fun, but I think things are getting a bit ridiculous. 10-4 and 8-0 by Ottawa is not fun hockey to watch. After a while blowo...

As for going the trade route, who would take it? If it really looks like he won't resign when the trade deadline rolls around Nonis will probably shop him. I don't think we would get anything like fair value for him. If he does get put on the market everyone will know it is because we can't afford h...

I think that Jovo will resign at some point in the year at the expense of someone like Ruutu. A borderline player being payed more then the league minimum. I don't think Jovo will be overly greedy, but I think he will ask for at least 4.5 mill per. If we do end up resigning him it will probably be f...

Mike gets up one morning to find his wife in the kitchen making breakfast. He looks to see what she's cooking, and sees one of his socks in frying pan. "What are you doing?" he asks. "I'm doing what you asked me to do last night when you came to bed very drunk," she replied. Completely puzzled, Mik...

Really not surprising. Most people who visit NHL.com will be from Ontario, thus leaf fans. Honestly, I am surprised that we were put ahead of Calgary, I just can't see us making it past the second round. Sad as it is, I really don't think we have what it takes this year, we really fall off the table...

I was watching the Cancucks DVD that showed him straightening his nose out at the end of game 7 against the Rags - after it had been broken a couple of shifts earlier. Appearently he broke it 3 times that series. One of many great Trevor moments... dvd? What dvd are you talking about? The Canucks D...

I voted for Linden as well, for the past 16 years Linden has been the leader,( never should have given away the C to Messier) and for what he did in 94. He is the best pick now but if Naslund leads the Canucks to the cup (with Linden ) then he will become the greatest Canuck then. I wouldn't give t...

Worst coaching disasters - Bill LaForge, Mike Keenan. I would add Renney to that list, but he did pick up the team at a bad time, so it wasn't really his fault. For who best exemplifies a Canuck I would vote Tiger Williams. Heart and Character. If he was on the list I would take him hands down, but...

I don't know why, but I think that Pavel Bure is the greatest Canuck ever. Skill wise at least. He was an egotistical headcase, but he was always amazing to watch. He didn't really do much for this team, or anyone for that matter, but he was a fantastic player. Tiger Williams and Stan Smyl were supe...
