Meanwhile, Murray picks up 2 goals tonight! He must know he's getting shopped.

I had high hopes for Morrison, after some time with the WCE, then a good year in Sweden during the lockout, then he comes back here and Bertuzzi-Naslund shut him out. I would guess that he's a little down over the whole situation. Now this year, he's another lost soul looking for a line. I think tha...

I too was excited about the deal. I was thinking, "Maybe, just maybe" the Canucks will draft a player or two who will develop into the real thing". I was hopeful then, and never lost the faith (as a diehard Canuck fan, who can?) and have been pleased with their development, and know that they will c...

I don't think goalies should be eligible for the Conn Smythe or Hart Trophies for this reason. If the description is taken literally, they'll win both award 9/10 times. I don't agree with the logic. If the goalie takes them to the Cup, then by all means he should have a shot at the Smythe. If he fa...

Sedin Sedin ________

So it makes sense to put Naslund on the Sedin line (for now). Could it be that Vigneault is waiting for someone to prove themselves worthy of playing with the Sedins? Make someone earn the spot? In the meantime, 6-7 games with Naslund playing with them won't hurt. In the meantime, someone should/cou...

Luc Bourdon vs. Anze Kopitar.

Watching the 2005 entry draft, I was really thinking that the Canucks would pick Kopitar with their #10 spot. Instead, they picked Bourdon and the Kings went next and picked up Kopitar. To this day, I don't know why the Canucks wouldn't pick up a big, gifted centre. Sure, top defensemen had hard to ...
