Too early (I hope) to tell.

Combine the uncertainy of the players with the new rule and a year or so away fro the NHL, and you have a bunch of guys getting into shape, playing tentatively and not quite ready for the full-contact, NHL games.

I say wait til after Christmas.

I think the curse was lifted when he retired - he can't have it both ways..... can he?

Still it will be an interesting site, and a potential draw around the league.

For Bure, I have to agree, he was one of the most exciting players to ever play in the league. We were lucky enough to have him at his peak. (But then, Bure didn't score 2 goals in "The Game 7") As far the the greatest Canuck - I'm thinking in terms of "Who would I like to point out as a prime examp...

I think it's really a choice between Smyl and LInden - who else is up there, really? In the end I have to give my vote to Trevor. I think he's done more in the community to get the slight edge. I was watching the Cancucks DVD that showed him straightening his nose out at the end of game 7 against th...

Even Ruutu couldn't score (hit the post in the shootout).

Sounds like Cloutier wasn't having a good game at all. Morrison and Salo get goals tonight. Was the game on TV up there? Sounded like a couple of good hits, though...

From every account that I've read, things will be different. First of all, the league acknowledges that previous 'crackdowns' were a joke. Since the fans have screamed for this for the past few years, we won't be able to complain at all when it happens. It's up to the players to realize that they wi...

With a year off, he may feel a little rejuvenated. He could also be interested in playing in the new NHL - go for it Dave!

Kowch wrote:The rumour I've heard is Jovo isn't going to resign as his wife wants to move back to Florida. Why not trade him (not an idea I'm entirely thrilled with) and Clouts to Florida for Luongo and Van Ryn? (or somthing along those lines... not sure how to even up the trade).
Now you're talking!

With Keenan's respect for goaltenders, maybe Luongo wants out of there.

I don't see this one happening, though...

A blonde, wanting to earn some money, decided to hire herself out as a handyman-type and started canvassing a wealthy neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do. "Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?" The blonde...

One day Mom was cleaning Junior's room and in the closet she found a bondage S&M magazine. This was highly upsetting for her. She hid the magazine until his Father got home and showed it to him. He looked at it and handed it back to her with out a word. So she asked him, "What should we do about thi...
