Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

provide the best coverage of the Canucks when it comes to print media. Definitely, if you consider The National Enquirer as having the best coverage of current events. The National Enquirer breaks a lot of stories first before the MSM, so yeah .... oh, and I don't think they don't use dubious chain ...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

Pretty much everyone at the shitrag is brutal. Crotchford is almost as bad as the aids patient. Kuzma is a boozer but he isn't as bad as the other two. At the Sun the guys seem a bit more grounded and don't whine and cry like the hacks at the Province. I don't know Blob .... you whine and cry like ...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

Anyways...hopefully you can maintain your PPD average. Always quality. He's actually doing far better than that. After 89 days he's racked up a staggering 1128 posts. Good for an 13.2 PPD average. It seems, uh, like it has impacted your life to the point that you'd take the time to look it ...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

Fuck, I was talking about getting Malkin years ago. I wish Benning would think of it. When the Canucks' table a legitimate offer for Malkin that's been reported then come back and write to me and than you can say you're ahead of the curve. Anyways...hopefully you can maintain your PPD ...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

Yeah true, only a genius would come up with an idea to trade for a formerly excellent young player after a terrible season. Weren't Wings also interested in Alex Edler? Well, you sure as Hell didn't. 8-) If you can't understand why the line in TG's column was a little offside, I suggest you Google ...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

First, read the column. I'm not paid for my opinions, nor do 1000s of people read my stuff. Even a sports journalist has a duty to be fair and balanced, and provide informed opinion. The fact that some posters on here know better than to take TG seriously does not excuse some of the opinions ...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

http://www.theprovince.com/sports/hockey/canucks-hockey/Gallagher+fill+vital+role+Canucks/10004659/story.html In this beauty, TG has Horvat committing suicide if he has to go back to junior. This all because the Canucks signed Vey. A 19 year old kid without a spot on the team...and he's going to ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

I don't think the regional TV deals will be that big a deal. Montreal and Toronto may add $30m to the pot each and others will surely add some as well but divide that by 30 franchises and then half it and see what it does to the salary cap midpoint.. not much. I'm not sure why Seattle is such a ...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

Gotta say, I've done a complete 180 with Pratt, I used to hate him but now I'm a fan of his. For how much Sekeres irritates me his show is probably the best 1040 has now mainly cause his partner provides a good ying yang for that slot. Pratt is saving the morning shot combined with Jake reeling it ...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

Somebody needs to tell bro Jake that he isn't funny. His jokes are the worst, what's with his long drawn out fake laugh ? How the fuck did he ever get on radio? I don't get it. He's mastered Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People." His Shtick is to be the class clown and ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Let's see the new Canadian Television Deal comes into effect next season, teams with old arenas like the Oilers and NYI will be moving to high revenue generating new arenas within the next couple of years, and we will likely see an expansion of two teams within 5 years, IMO. :mex: This year's cap ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Probably the "going rate" for Callahan, but I don't like it in term or dollars. Speaking of the going rate.. with the cap increase already falling slightly this year, if revenue stagnates and the Canadian dollar gets weaker it'd probably be better for the long term interests of this franchise to ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Is it only if you sign after 35 that all those penalties kick in? Or is it just if you are over 35 and you retire? So many stupid rules to deal with the cap. I think it is if you're 35 or over when the new contract comes into effect, the remainder counts even if you retire. So if Gaborik retires ...

Florida Panthers — Aaron Ekblad. Assuming Dale Tallon doesn't flip this ...
