Re: Coach AV returns next year? Yes or No

Mixed feelings on this one. AV is obviously a good coach, but I think sometimes he gives this team *too* much leeway when it comes to handing over the leadership reigns. I also don't like the way he handles the younger guys, he needs to give them a chance to make some mistakes, and make them during ...

Re: Off-Season Trade Thread - Needs/Wants

I'm hearing the Oilers are front runners on Justin Schultz. Hearing that the Oilers may surprise everyone and take that Murray kid instead of The Yak. So if they sign Schultz and draft Murray, hmm, their future prospects on D are looking kinda good. You're reading too much Richard Cloutier on Hocke...

Re: OK, So What I have heard this May 2012

On Luongo: Toronto is the front runner, for now. Allaire is the draw that has Luongo putting them on his list that does not exist. The cost will be high as MG does have 3 other teams that are also very high on Luongo but MG wants to try and deal Luongo to one of his top two choices, not at the risk...

Depth signings/trades always seem to be the bane of existence for this franchise, but 1 or 2 good depth p...

Re: Mike Gillis agrees to contract extension with Canucks

Very stoked to find the old crew from CC, was an original member and just found this site. Heard from sources that Gillis demanded a very large raise the day after they were eliminated... and obviously it was granted. Don't be so sure about AV coming back, if he was coming back for sure I don't thin...
