Re: The Leaves will win atleast 2 rounds in the East

Doesn't much matter who Toronto plays - Bruins, Habs, etc. I think they'll quickly find themselves outgunned, behind and wondering what the spring specials on golf clubs are.

Re: OOTS...2013

Looks like Tambalenni's time in Edmonton is done and McTavish is now the GM.
Interesting times out there as the Oilers perform below expectations yet again.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Did anyone see the slash that Taylor Hall dished out last night? It was brutal. http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/11/videos-taylor-hall-takes-a-huge-hit-unleashes-a-big-slash/ That's a tap on the ankle that puts Bobby Clarke to shame. Wow... that's the kind of BS play that probably makes t...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Didn't see this earlier so deleted the thread I posted.

To me the hit look glancing but who knows. Hopefully he is out for a couple of games to prove the hit was real and not just another one of the famous Bruin's dives.

meh.

Gino Odjick Interview - Reflections on Being a Canuck

Very interesting interview.

He has some choice words for Keenan and Messier.

Re: OOTS...2013

A little something I saw that might be of interest to people here. After a 3-1 loss to the Flames, J.S. Giguere of the AV's UNLOADED on his team to reporters. Its worth a read. http://blogs.denverpost.com/avs/2013/04/08/jean-sebastien-giguere-colorado-avalanche-tirade-against-teammates-practice/12915/

Re: GDT - Bettman's team (aka Phoenix) @ Canucks - 7pm Snet-

I was so stoked to see Kesler back and the man delivered. We had energy and attitude and it was good to see. Very pleased with Kassian's play last night. Noticable and contributed. Great pass and patience on the goal, some good back checking and overall a decent performance. I think keeping him with...

Re: Trade Deadline Day Trades and Rumours

Let's see Mike Smith in a non-trap system. On this account I have to agree with you BT. Watching the game last night I'm thankful no-one got the bright idea you had to do a shot everytime 5 'Yotes players were simultaneously within 10 feet of the goalie. Even a pro drinker would have been under the...

Re: Trade Deadline Day Trades and Rumours

I dunno. I am reading a lot of opinion that suggests that the Leaves were deliberately out to embarass Van, MG and Lou.

Regardless of one's opinion on this, Toronto is definately out of the running on Lou regardless of what happens. I can't see MG or Lou wanting to deal with them after this.

Re: GDT - Coilers @ canucks, 7pm - SN-Pac

Was very pleased with the game last night. Roy really looked good and his play has me really looking forward to Kesler's return when we will have 3 legit scoring lines. I'm liking this early talk of a 2a and 2b line. Higgins is on fire. The man is playing inspired hockey right now. Grin on his face ...

Re: Trade Deadline Day Trades and Rumours

Correct me if I'm wrong but you cannot resign a player after you buy him out. Good theory, I just don't think its doable under the current CBA rules. They may need to buyout Lou but they'll also have to weigh that against possible buyouts to Ballard and Booth. We'll see how the summer progresses. Fo...

Re: Trade Deadline Day Trades and Rumours

Isn't Darren Dreger the Cheeseburglers cousin? He the insider alright...inside the blow hole: Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger Canucks called at 2pm...made a trade offer, Tor declined. Van called at 2:30 with 2nd offer, Tor declined...3rd offer at 2:45pm...decline. Yeah saw that too. The Leaves feel th...

Re: Trade Deadline Day Trades and Rumours

I concur with HW. Canada.com currently running the online tag of "Bobby-Lou no-one wants you"

Pretty bad commentary. Must have come from a Toronto writer.
