Well I've been away for a couple weeks since before the road trip, how did our Vancouver "Road Warriors" do?

Anyways, finally a PP goal

Is it too early to start drinking the Kool-Aid? :D

Starting the season 4-1-1 would be great. (after beating the train-wreck Coilers)
but 5-0-1 would have been unbelievable.

Re: GDT: 7/10/15 Canucks @ Flames 7pm SN

Colour me impressed. Miller very solid Twins and Sutter very good line, very impressed Bartkowski and Hutton great with the puck, great at getting it out of the zone, great ability to rush with the puck, solid at the point. Burrows and Hansen played well together. 4th line did its job. 40+ shots, 5...

Speaking of fantasies... what are you wearing? :mex: Wearing? Heck, what is HW smoking? :D ^ How easy will it be for you "stress-wise" when the wins start to pile up? BTW all 14 teams to miss the playoffs are in the Draft Lottery now. BTW your Vancouver Canucks will not be one of them. :twis...

I really like Cracknell in the fourth one over Vey. I really like the third line McCann over Vey. But it will be interesting to see how they work these kids in. Maybe they waive Higgins once he is healthy.....naw, hoping for too much. Maybe we can trade Vey and get our 2nd round pick back.... :P

Re: Canucks News and Notes

For too many years this organization has been afraid to lose players on waivers and they have been kept over others who deserved a shot. So yes, there was a path that the Canucks could have taken that would have allowed hem to keep Frankie, several other options they could have done. But in the end...

Re: 2015 Canucks offseason

I can't remember who posted this but I agree, as long as we have the twins we will never tank. That being the case Benning doesn't have a lot of choice but the keep us in playoff contention. In three years Bo should be ready for 2nd line duty. Hopefully McCann and Cassells are ready to join the clu...

Re: 2015 Canucks offseason

Blake Price is stirring the pot: WD on why Hansen vs Vrbata in the CGY series "Some things in the room stay in the room... but we thought the speed would help" So is WD saying Vrbata is too slow, injured, attitude, what exactly. Anyway this is leading to speculation that there is an issue and Vrbat...

Re: 2015 Canucks offseason

If Higgins isn't traded for a dozen Coffey Sherwoods from Costco this summer I'll be pissed. I actually laughed out loud at that. But mostly because I think you are WAY overvaluing Higgins here. :look:  I just don't get this fixation on Higgins. :? He's a 3rd line guy getting paid 3rd line mon...

Re: 2015 Canucks offseason

Or because negotiating with a player to take less money to get a NTC and then asking them to waive for nothing is bad faith negotiating and may dissuade quality free agents from coming to Vancouver in the future. I hope if Burrows, Hamhuis & Bieksa are asked to waive that they tell JB to shove it. ...

Re: 2015 Canucks offseason

Bieksa/Sbisa are taking a lot of heat this series and to an extent rightfully so. But Hamhuis/Weber were really not much better IMO, especially as the series went on. Bieksa (-1) & Sbisa (-2) for a combined -3, and put their team shorthanded 2 times in the series. Hamhuis (-2) & Weber (-5) for a co...
