Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

If Dion Phaneuf and his crazy over payment of a contract in both dollars and term can be traded from the Leaves to the Sens and then to the Kings, I'm sure Sutter and/or Eriksson can be moved.

Re: Quinn Hughes time begins!

I would guess he doesn't play until next week to stay under the 10 game limit. That way we are not having to protect him in the expansion draft. Gives him a few practices and lets his foot bruise heal. He can play 10, once he plays 11, then he needs protection. If he plays 10, then he has arbitrati...

Re: GDT: Vegas @ Vancouver Mar 9/19. 7 pm HNIC

Call up Dahlen.....oh wait.... :( To be fair, the same was being said about Jordan Subban - most fans were pissed the team never gave him a shot and instead traded him to LA. LA gives up on him and last year he signs with Toronto and is playing with the Marlies. 6 full seasons since he was drafted ...

Andersen can't stop Louie, how's he going to stop the Bruins.

One and out yet again and I don't even care it's going to come at the hands of the Bruins.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Do you REALLY think this? Look at that Islanders roster. It screams regression next year. They simply don't have much talent. And can they count on .930% goaltending again? Toronto has far more talent. What's interesting, since the Islanders game after tonight Toronto is 3-0 and Islanders 0-2. Toro...

Re: 2017/18 Canucks head coach search

I don't think there has ever been an NHL coach that has won a cup with his team after 4 years of coaching. What I mean is if your coach can't win a cup in his first four years on the job, he'll never win you a cup. If he does win a cup on those first four, he may win another in year 5 or 8 or 10 ......

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Willy Nilly is making 10 million this year Mick. 10.2 to be exact The extra 3.3 was for making him cry. I hate the Leaves, one thing I hate almost the same is fans of the game using salaries in arguments over cap hits. As fans of a team, the actual dollar value should mean absolute shit...it's not ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Would be nice if they go on a little run, even though they've traded everyone away.

Mess up COL's shot at a top 2 future Canuck killer pick

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Any chance they talk to Elder and say if he wants a full NMC, they'll give it to him, but he has to waive for the expansion draft. Then, give him a big signing bonus in year 3, which Seattle probably doesn't take on: Year 1: 3M Base Salary Year 2: 2M Base Salary Year 3: 1M Base Salary + 9 Mil Bonus ...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Well they're are other teams at least lol without Cups: Blues 67' Sabres 70' Canucks 70' (Game 7 x 2 in Cup finals loss :( ) - a little lotto luck would be frickin' nice at least to help with this rebuild. Sharks 91' Sens 93' And the Blues were the best of the six-pack in 67. It was easy for them t...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Canucks re-sign Granlund 1 year / 1.475 mil Still an RFA next year, hoping he has a bounce back season so next contract is still under Van's control. Dang looking back at the June posts - time FLEW BY QUICK! less than 4 more months till the draft. Did it ever, I still think he's a useful player, es...

Re: Trade Deadline, Feb.25, 2019 ?

You really think Tanev is only worth a 2nd? LOL Name which teams will cough up a 1st + for him at the Draft. That’s when picks safe more expensive. At the rate CBJ were trading away draft picks, I could have seen them easily send us a first in 2021 - which is when they most likely become a lottery ...

Re: Trade Deadline, Feb.25, 2019 ?

But the trade was made at the request of Dahlen. He wanted to be called up or traded. Its as simple as that. Always good to know who’s in charge No kidding. Good to know a B-level prospect can dictate terms to the NHL management group. If his attitude was so shitty, they should have parked his ass ...
