Re: Canucks News and Notes

We're already "stuck" with our top 6. The time to trade was after the Cup run, a quick retooling ... that window has long passed. Look forward to a pretender contender for the next few years. We'll need Bo and Hunter to turn into elite players, some astute drafting/trades by GMMG, and a few lucky b...

Re: HNIC may leave CBC :)

There was an odd CBC political/propaganda commercial during the football game yesterday. I wasn't really paying attention... anyone know what it was about? Oh wait... none of you fuckers watch the CFL... I saw it. I think it was about stopping the politicization of the CBC...but I was stoned so I m...

Re: HNIC may leave CBC :)

In the last 20 years the CBC has become a pimple on the ass of society. Its not the unbiased media platform that R.B Bennett envisioned.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Of if they traded us Kadri, Franson and Bozak for Luongo. It may be a tad premature, but I am looking forward to reminding the tools here in Ontario that they could have had Luongo, but they should just settle down and enjoy five more years of genius management. Let's see Dreger wipe his coz's jizz...

Re: Luongo and Schneider Revisited (or is it continued?)

If I were Rummy I would've tried for a points-per-game type of deal. Oh well. http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/images/smilies/devildance.gif Yeah I thought about an injury clause but it seemed like a bitch move. I lost 300 bucks back in '96(?) because I bet this douche that Bure would score more goa...

RFA Weise avoids arbitration for second straight year. Gets one-year deal, raise from $615,000 to $750,000. #canucks

I would rather play with a shortened bench than Weise in the lineup.

Re: Canucks select Bo Horvat with the #9 pick

Next year is the '14 season. This guy had Horvat playing on the first line in '16. Derp. If the board gets any dumber I probably will be leaving, not to worry. That would still be his 3rd season. I know. Math is Hard Like I said dunce cap, he's probably not making the team this year. He's 18 and yo...

I dont recall saying he is a Sydney Crosby talent. I remember saying he is very good. Nice try though.

Re: Canucks select Bo Horvat with the #9 pick

Apparently we just drafted Sidney Crosby. A bunch of the kids over at HFboards have annointed Horvat as our 1st line center in '15 or '16. Man, he must be something if he's going to be better than Henrik AND Kesler before his sophomore year. I almost never go over there, but I was looking fo...

As it is we are on the verge of a full rebuild. Lets get what we can while the going is good.

Re: Canucks select Bo Horvat with the #9 pick

We can build a team around Horvat. I am very surprised that players agent mike gillis didnt fuck that one up as well. He is one of the worst GM's in our team history. But even a broken clock can show the right time twice a day. Funny, that's what I say to myself when you (make the same tired) comme...
