Re: 2019 offseason

Don’t entertain Ferland over $4.5M. Think Matt Cooke before his last year in Van. A speedy guy who likes to hit hard and could crash the net to produce at a 20g, 50pt pace when skating with two-thirds Of a legit top 3 line. Would you ever have paid more than $4M for Cooke? I think Ferland is a good...

They said they'd want a temporary worker for a stop gap, think Tanev. I forget what else their fans said they need, I think a young future dman (Jett Woo) seems like a good Jet type dman, big, rugged, can score. Maybe a 2020 1st or someone like Gaud. A package like that might get the convo started....

Trouba won’t extend in Vancouver What makes you think that? I always thought Trouba was consistent about wanting to play RD, and wanting a bigger role on a team - something that wasn't possible on Winnipeg's blueline for the last several years. Here, he would undoubtedly be our most durable RD, and...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Yikes I might consider that deal at five years. 72 million over eight years. Botterill just got schooled by Skinner’s agent. Pretty one dimensional guy who’s had a couple nasty concussions. And put up a career-best year in his final season before UFA... Imagine if he returns to his career average, ...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Trouba's "a contract problem," but he is because he wants to get paid like a #1 and if he is or becomes a #1, what's wrong with that? Doughty is a contract problem, too. Pay me a lot or I leave. Kings pay a lot without a fight, so there is a perception that's not a problem.... The only question on ...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

+/- isn’t the best stat to gauge things but how the fuck did Louis Ericksson end up -8 when his team goals differential was +20. How the fuck does that happen? I’m sure it’s the coaches fault. Make this loser ride the buses for a year until he loses interest and retires. Send his ass to Kalamazoo. ...

Rutherford attached the 3rd to Sutter to move him. He got an equal and far cheaper player in Bonino.Elner bent over, grabbed his ankles and tossed in a 2nd and Clendenning. Doc knows this, he’s just being a mongtard
Who's your source? MS?

Re: 2019 offseason

Ok blob, thanks for explaining when you're ok with pissing away 2nds.

I'd thought 2nds were solid gold to you, the way you've been complaining about Vey and Sutter and Guddy, but good to know you don't mind trading them for shitty players.

Rogers' marketing has failed to make me feel guilty for looking forward to the Raptors getting steamrolled in the final and Leonard leaving on the first plane outta town.

Re: 2019 offseason

Sutter isnt better than nylander ehlers or bennett bro. Sutter is pretty close to waiver wire calibre now Sutter is better than Bennett, he was one of the fancystat boys fan favourite two years ago, last year was injury riddled, he brings a lot more to a bottom 6 than Bennett does elite penalty kil...

Re: 2019 offseason

Geez, hit a nerve eh blob? One guy is on the upswing and it isn’t Beagle. Well it isn't Bennett. At least do some basic math before spewing your drivel. You know that Bennett has never matched his mediocre rookie production in 3 years, and hasn't cracked 30 points. And where did I say to pay him 4 m...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Detroit is already regretting passing on QH. To be honest, Detroit’s drafting the last while is quite underwhelming. Holland is overrated I think Holland is a decent hockey guy but his amateur scouting hasnt been good enough. He may be better suited to transition a team like the coil from bumbling ...

Re: 2019 offseason

Dude would lose his shart if Elmer offer sheeted Bennett You’d be happy as shart if Jimbro sheeted Bennett terrible stache I’d rather roll the dice on a 2nd for him (among other assets) than Sutter, Gudbranson or Vey Vey after the trade: 24 points in 75gp. Bennett's last year: 27 points in 71gp. So...

Rueben and about five fat tugs ... or was it six?

Place is a goldmine
Actually not bad. Love the Rueben and Fat Tug. Did you ask for grapefruit wedges with the fat tug?
I love how this thread is bringing you two together.

Sorry, I should have put this in a PM. :drunk: :drunk:

Is this thing really of any use? Or is it just the NHL trying to mimic the NFL?
Who was it that couldn't do a single pullup? Was that Willie Nylander?

With the way NFL prospects train for the combine at the expense of any other form of training, I'm not sure there is much use for the combine.
