Re: Jim Ignitowski Benning
Can't help myself from doing this, cause i still get pissed off about it: - Juolevi selected instead of Matthew Tkachuk Tkachuk with 26 frikin goals. And here's another tidbit: - Jarred McCann traded for Gudbransen McCann with 15 goals Thats a lot of offence man. In fact im inclined to say, this is...

That's true, except for every Cup champion and finalist for the past decade.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 9:15 am no team can have 3-4 guys making more than 8 million a year and 2 guys making more than 10 and still ice a competitive team.

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"
Has anybody heard this "Uncle" guy that calls into Satiar's show on SN650? God that guy cracks me up, I can't tell if he's legit or if its all an elaborate prank Fake accent, I'm Indian and can hear right through it. Is there any chance that maybe, just maybe, Laleet is actually Sat's uncle? Cuz th...

Re: Canucks Young Guns
He’s not even the best d man on his own junior team. He isn't? Well his pretty damned close, and definitely the best 19 year old dman on his team, by a longshot. [There’s no need for him to get his head kicked in as a 19 year old in the AHL. He can't play in the AHL Blob. Josh Brook He's ...

Re: Karlsson, Myers, None or ... ? Poll
If they cough up 7 + to Myers , that will be an albatross. This guy is an average 2nd pairing guy. At 5 million , sure sign me up, but that ain’t happening. No fucking way you pay him as top 20 d man. Horrible boat anchor will end up being another Loui debacle. 2nd-pairing UFAs haven't signed for $...

Re: 2019 UFA
If Edler and Tanev stay on the team, I think I prefer seeing Hutton and Stecher at 5/6 on the depth chart. I think they're fine as fill-ins in the top-4 when injuries hit, but I wouldn't want to rely on them in a top-4 role (see: this season). That would require adding at least one UFA, re-signing E...

Re: 2019 UFA
Canucks have been middle-of-the-pack in what I consider defensive team stats categories - pk%, GA/gp, SA/gp. They are bottom-5 in offensive team stats - pp%, SF/gp, GF/gp. I'm a little surprised by the defensive performance - some is thanks to Markstrom, but I was very surprised to see they're 16th ...

Re: Canucks Young Guns
I consider "skilled high-end players" to include more than "stars" (i.e. I consider them to include legitimate “top-six forwards and top 3 defensemen”). Those comprise more than 11% of the NHL, hence many are alumni of the AHL and have "developed in the AHL". Just for reference, statistically Antoi...

Re: 2019 UFA
Anyways yes I'd throw all the cash at EK July 1st first and foremost. [/b] FFS Skyo.. Get off the sniffing glue already. We are NOT getting EK. He is not coming here. We don't want him at the price tag he will command. It will be an overpayment (to say the least) to get him here. He is an albatross...

Re: 2019 UFA
To UW's point, another good signing was Demitra - not because he a perennial all star, but because Gillis was able to stick to his guns and sign him for only 3 years. Other than Karlsson, it's the 2/3 year deals for second tier ufa's that we should target. Unless Gardiner or Myers is available for u...

I love how next-level your leaves hate, you watch them so intently you can identify Dubas‘ winces!Strangelove wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2019 7:11 pm Lol Paddy, that pic is Dubas tonight after 10 Million William (credit: Dude) gave the puck away leading to Sens 6th goal.
