Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO

If Jacob thinks his next contract starts with a 6, they need to let him walk after the season. I wonder if Marky Mark would take a one year deal if we overpay him a bit? Maybe $7-$8 M for a year, so we can protect Demko in the expansion draft. I'm sure Marky is a good team guy and we did help salva...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO

If Jacob thinks his next contract starts with a 6, they need to let him walk after the season. This is where the Loungo contract hurts us the most. Markstrom at $6M would not be unreasonable based on his body of work over the past 12 months, and if it should continue of course. It would put him in ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

I guess we are now seeing why Huberdeau was drafted so high. Quietly putting together a great season. Took him awhile getting there He's been a 60+ point player for 5 years (including this one), and 70+ for 3 years. Last season 92 points and this year on pace for 100+. Considering the team around h...

Canadas goalies cant stop fuck all Meds. Because of this it wont be their tournament even if they rally moving forward. This Daws kid sucks I never said they could. Although they just beat Germany 4-1.....if we beat the Czech's in regulation we are top spot in our pool. WTF eh wot? Either our pool ...

I've always thought of shorthouse as a jim henson character
Shorthouse has the name and voice of one, but Garret actually looks like one.

Re: GDT: Canucks @ lames - Dec 29 7:30pm SN

From Sportsnet: The Canucks’ power play scored on its first two chances and now leads the NHL with 39 power-play goals in 40 games. In 82 games last season, Vancouver scored only 43 goals with the man-advantage. Will wonders never cease? The Canucks’ two units are so different – Elias Pettersson’s e...

Re: GDT: Canucks @ lames - Dec 29 7:30pm SN

I used to like Cassie but when did she become such a Flames homer? I liked listening to Cassie & Ball tonite, nice break from Shorty & Garrett. Nice to see how the Flames crew calls their games. Cassie is easier on the eyes than Shorty & Garrett. :P Cassie is horrible. She's very cliche and basical...

I will relish the narrative if Edmonton goes from being a top 5 team to start December to missing the playoffs entirely. :P

Re: World Juniors 2020

Please put the “Ref card” away, Meds. It’s so classic sour grapes Hockey Canada. Its either blame the refs or the coach when we lose. How about this - this Russians are better than us today, substantially better. Has nothing to do with the goals, the refs, the Russians own every aspect of the game,...

Re: World Juniors 2020

Ferraro is right, the Russians own the middle of the ice They own the boards as well. Pretty mean piece of business this red machine. Pod looks good, very strong skater. Not flashy but tenacious at both ends of the ice. Yeah, they came out strong. Canada wasn't ready. An unlucky goal against that w...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO

In that case just offer them Loui straight up. Pretty much a wash capwise, Kovalchuk would either play top-6 or not at all. No risk involved for us so long as Eriksson is willing to waive. pssst: Kovalchuk's contract was terminated the other day. Well shit. I must be late to this party then. Kovy s...
