Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Fortunately the western based team is rumoured to be SJ? Of course Vegas is still talked about too.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

StalWART Luca Sbisa has managed to muster up a PTO. I would have thought he would have gotten a long term deal at good money. Well I would have thought that if I actually believed the people who were pumping his tires. But I’m the one who doesn’t watch the games. Ya the pizza man was overpaid...

Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

Think everyone knows how I feel about Gagne, ah-em, but anyways, and seriously, I don't know if I truly see a spot for Granlund anymore. I was quite wrong last year in regards to the progress he could make here and it wasn't for the lack of chances. Think now, we've seen about all there can be. We ...

Re: Captain my Captian

Benning says decision to be announced soon but offered it could mean no permanent captain this season.

I like Sutter for now with Bo and Edler alternatives

Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

I think there are 4 players, Juolevi, Gaudette and the twins from another mother, who could have a shot. I’m just not convinced that Benning will see them as ready, with the exception of Gaudette. The Swedes need top six ice and I think the club wants to see Goldobin in the least have a shot. Juolev...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Trade between Montreal and Vegas https://www.tsn.ca/canadiens-trade-pacioretty-to-golden-knights-1.1170348 Not a bad haul for Pac, but then Vegas has enoug assets to do the deal. That’s a decent return for Montreal. Didn’t Vegas give up a 1st for Tatar? VGK gave up 1st, 2nd and a 3rd last year for ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Kinda my point in a backhanded way. Benning gets creamed for his trades yet McPhee seems to get a pass.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Except for the expansion draft I'm not impressed with McPhee's GMing.

Giving up a lot for Tatar then a lot for Pacioretty. First year success went to his head. That's a lot of first and second rounders for an expansion team to surrender and all they have for it is Pacioretty.

Not sure the Sedins ever had great shots Wids...just accurate
Well there you go, they are better than the twins already.

The twins could snipe really good. Not Boeser snipe, not Naslund pre elbow injury snipe, but snipe good.

Re: 2018 Young Stars Tourny Pentiction

Pettersson and Dahlen. Here’s the thing, if they are deployed as line mates: 1) the inevitable Sedin comparisons will follow them for the first several years 2) like the twins they are highly skilled 3) like the twins they are not big guys 4) like the twins they are not heavy players but will engage...

Re: 2018 Young Stars Tourny Pentiction

Ok. I’m done. Just getting board watching on my iPad.

A lot to be excited about but the future is not now. I think most, if not all these kids, will season in Utica until our roster is thinned out.
