Re: Canucks Sign Byron Bitz

(and I go out of my way to make Flames fans feel irrelevant :P) And by doing so, you make them feel more relevant. Oh, the irony! Not a lot of fight left in the Cowtowners lately, in my experience. No matter where I went, they were in my ear constantly through the first two rounds. But their ...

Somehow, seeing these things on bookshelves doesn't help either...

...though I did finally flip through a copy today, and I give them credit for not ignoring the riot.

I'd be more optimistic if the competition from last year's camp hadn't resulted in a 4th line of Desbiens-Bolduc-Schaefer

Re: The Great Depression: Anyone else still feeling down?

I'm over it to the point where it doesn't pop into my head once a day to spoil my mood. But it's only been about a week. Thanks for reminding me :P Every time I walk by a magazine rack and see Sports Illustrated or The Hockey News with the Bruins on the cover....well that's still a kick in the gut. ...

Damn straight. Set an NHL record by having his first 4 career goals also be GWG.

Just think how many he'd have by now!

Re: TV Shows: What are you watching?

Been half-assed rewatching the new Battlestar Galactica on my days off. Just fantastic TV....for about the first 60 episodes. Then it's 20 episodes of WTF? to finish things off :scowl:

Re: Cap Floor & Mr Ballard

I want to see Ballard get a fair shot this season. Thats playing 5-5 and on the PP and on the PK. Certainly if Ballard does not bring it to camp and he is being benched again then it will be time to part ways with him and it is good to know Tanev is just a call up away. From what you've said, and w...

Re: Western Conference In/Out Thread

You can all but officially put Campoli on the "out" list for Chicago http://espn.go.com/chicago/nhl/story/_/id/6773916/chris-campoli-return-chicago-blackhawks-season Sounds like he's asking for the moon, but I certainly wouldn't mind if we picked him up on a reasonable contract. At best he could be ...

Re: From Bountiful to Ponoka

I feel sorry for Peter - yeah, I could see how his voice could become annoying (It didn't really bother me). Anyway, good luck to him in the furture. Looks like the Flames have re-signed BMo - $1.25 million for one year. Not bad. No word on whether he got a NMC  I wonder what the reason was? W...

I don't wish bad on Peter Loubardias, but I will NOT miss him.

What a homer, and what an awful voice for play-by-play.

Re: Hodgson Outlook

CoHo is one injury removed from being one of the top rated prospects in the game. I think hitting the panic button with his development would be a dramatically bad premature ejaculation of a quality young up and coming centre . This kid can play despite his wheels. I saw him dominate against player...
