If we do need to trade Ballard, Minny could be a good fit as according to capgeek they will be lacking some dmen this offseason if Foster and Lundin leave via UFA. And in return we could use Matt Cullen who could help our anemic offense for the 3rd line center spot, as he has that savvy veteran lead...

Alex Semin could be our answer in trying to find a scoring machine who can also snipe some goals after Danny. Could be our version of the Hossa acquisition by the Pens'/Wings/Hawks. I'd rather MG go balls out in trying to land this guy, as Parise will be paid insane amounts of cash.
