I thought Jere Gillis was the bomb after that, and I had to wear #21 playing street hockey. Little did I know, looking back, how average a hockey player he really was. *lol* I always either "#4, Mike Walton" or "#8, Rick Blight", at least until Gradin came to town. biggest hockey-related memory fro...

sensitivity alert - this one might be a little dirty. ------------------------------------------------------- Sheila, the Aussie housewife got out of the shower and slipped over on the bathroom floor. Instead of slipping over forwards or backwards, she slipped, did the splits and suctioned herself t...

It has to be Linden for his time in the 90s.
Bure was the most talented we've ever had.
Snepts had the best fu-manchu ever.
However, I voted for Gradin to make sure he'd be represented.

No. he's a great player, but the rest of the league is so much better than 20 years ago.
My guess is he won't be the next Jebus, but could very well be the next Forsberg (sans diving) or the next Sakic (with more grit).

should be fun to watch, its a shame its wasted on Pittsburgh.

voted "Don't Care". Players and owners are both being too damned stupid.

from the looks of the first score, (16-13, Cloutier with the win), the players don't much care either.
for anyone who thought more scoring automatically makes a better game, here's proof to the contrary.

I'm going with Minny. Even with the Moore thing, Colorado has their deepest rivalry with the Red Wings. We as a club are still reaching to the level where Colorado is (multiple division chmapionships, dangerous in the playoffs more often than not, usually among the faves for the Cup) Minny on the ot...

Cooke is more like another Maltby. An agitator who is a pretty good player, but is universally despised because of his antics; ie. turtling, borderline hits. I have yet to see Scotty Walker ever turtle in a fight, and I've seen him hammer the shit out of opponents who outweigh him by 30 pounds. Coo...

I voted for Cookie, though that was probably wishful thinking on two counts (wishing that Nazzy is Captain for a few more years, and wishing the Cooke continues with everything he showed in the playoffs). Cooke has shown the potential to be another Scott Walker in very short order. If you build your...
