Re: Sundin on TSN - No Closer to a Decision

That's a good question Clam, and I don't know the answer. I'm not sure if Naslund is all that more appealing in the light of Demitra, I know Sundin and Naslund are countrymen, but not necessarily friends. Not to mention Demitra's problems have been injury related, Naslund may very well be just on t...

Paddy's back, back again!

This time for the Canadian Junior team.

This is a great move for Quinn. The man still can coach... I'm pretty happy about this.

Re: Canucks / Sens complete trade

Pretty evident that Canuck Management has more faith in Mason Raymond than Ryan Shannon. I don't like nor hate the trade. Yes we gave up youth (again) but with what happened on D last year with all the injuries, it's a precautionary measure, as I am sure that's exactly what Gillis was thinking. We ...

Re: Sundin on TSN - No Closer to a Decision

I think this issue has been hashed out through so many angles I don't even know where to start. I would like to think that Sundin would have stuck to his word and given an answer one way or another at the beginning of August as it was reported. As a fan, I felt I have been held hostage by one of th...

September 19th is the official start date. I am unsure of the complete list of people going to training camp.

Re:

Mccabe is underrated. Yeah, you heard me. The criticism of him has gone overboard. He puts up solid numbers year in, year out. Getting Van Ryn and his crippled wrisits means they won't win this trade. I think McCabe needs a new start. In my opinion, he's a poor man's Jovo. But it's pretty well offi...

Re: Bernier ready to make an impact

Definitely good to hear, although he has chosen a number (18) that hopefully will serve him better than Steve Kariya, King, and Fedor. Also some notables to dawn the #18... Shawn Antoski (just think of what we could have gotten instead of him) Igor Larionov (his first NHL game only) Marc "747" Craw...

Re: Next outdoor game in the plans

I got no problem with a hockey game at Yankee stadium. Hey Lotus blossom how's the feeling for the up coming hockey season in Chi town? Now that the Old Boy is dead and his Son seems to be making the team more acsseable to the area, coupled with the awsome young talent. I bought season tickets to t...

Re: Shoot outs, who takes them now ?

So far, I see it as

Demitra
Kesler
Raymond

Again, we haven't even hit training camp quite yet...should be fun to keep up on the prospective shoot out guns

Re: Next outdoor game in the plans

I'll be at the one at Wrigley Field in Chicago (Since I live in Chicago). I'm actually more excited about the Canucks visiting the United Center twice this upcoming season more than anything. It would be nice to see an outdoor game in Montreal, with the Habs vs. the Leaves...you know, a good Canadia...

Re: Monday Morning Articles - Some very good ones

Nice to see/read/hear some good news out in Canuck Land. I want to touch in on the fact that I think we have some very good prospects in the system that just need a chance. The problem with giving these kids a chance in the eyes of many of the Canuckleheads out there is that we don't/won't have the ...
