We should get a ransom for him. As much as I like Salo & his shot, we have young guys coming up that are cap friendly. He will be a great addition to a team that wants to make a run at the cup. Carolina, NYI or Washington would be my first guesses as a destination. I think the Nucks can get a bit f...

Re: Big Changes for NHL Next Year

- The eight-team division in the Western Conference would feature all teams in Pacific or Mountain time zones (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Jose, Colorado and Phoenix). Holy good god. I'm sure David Nonis would love to be in this division. That's just a brutally t...

Wow the bad luck continues.

Poor Rypien. He's more injury prone than Salo!

The only "good" news may be that Salo's injuries may scare away some teams for free agency. On the other hand do you sign an oft injured dman for the money that he may be looking for ($4 million at least).

Why don't they let the refs look at the video review rather than the NHL head office like in the NFL? Too expensive? To me it makes more sense...

So according to TSN there will probably be NO suspension and just a fine. What a joke. They should give him at least one game. Colin Campbell and the NHL is a joke. I hope there's no retribution in the next game between the Caps and the Sabres.

What was Ovechkin thinking?

Anyone see Ovechkin's hit on Briere? What was he thinking? Briere was in a totally vulnerable position and he had no chance to protect himself. Good thing Ovechkin didn't totally pound him into the boards.

He should be suspended for that.

There's not much to choose from really. What really bugs me is that a useless guy like Tommi Santala is here doing nothing because he's on a one way contract. Why the hell would Nonis sign him to a one way contract. The guy has done absolutely nothing. I'm starting to realize why Jason King was so m...

Daniel is really slumping after a great start. I thought this was his break out year. I wonder if he may be spending more time looking for Naslund or Pyatt instead of doing some stuff himself. Him and Henrik were seemingly more assertive and creative earlier in the season.

Yes the Canucks are having trouble scoring, we all knew they would...but Luongo was meant to steal some games for us, which he hasn't. I would more say that he has kept us in games so we have had the chance to win ... clearly we have got a lot of holes in our team from secondary scoring to lack of ...

Yeah the media are another problem here, they'll just add fuel to the fire and get it in Luongo's head that this really is a goalie graveyard, and it won't help the situation at all. Sometimes they drive me absolutely nuts The "media" are on Luongo's case? All I see is a troll on an internet forum,...

NO we should not trade Luongo, but... Luongo has not been playing like a 6.5 million dollar goalie this season. He is 23rd in the league in save percentage barely over 0.900 and the team is one of the better defensive teams in the league. On the other hand, Kiprusoff, Roloson, Backstrom are in the t...

Any trader involving Bulis or Chouinard will probably be something uneven like:

Bulis + 2nd rounder for 3rd rounder

It's the only way someone will take them...like the Devils and San Jose.

Personally I think the league should penalize headshots. However, since they haven't penalized any of the incidents this season they can't suspend Mitchell either unles they change the rules or make him an example. I think the circumstances are a lot like Regehr's hit on Downey...a bit late and a da...
