Yeah kudos to Emery AND Biron both.

As for the hit, it may be (borderline) legal under the nhl rules but the NHL has got to do something about these headshots, and maybe the PA should maybe "work" on the players' respect for each other. They lost one superstar in Lindros? Who may the next one be?

Tonight (February 18, 2007): Minnesota loses to St. Louis 5-3. :D San Jose loses again 5-2 to Dallas. They are REALLY struggling right now. The Nucks are now only 3 points behind and only behind if they win tonight over Colorado with equal number of games played.! Could San Jose be that team that wi...

I must say if I was to try and make a trade today I'd try nad pick up either Carter or Richards from Philly for Kesler. They seemed very interested in Kesler and although he can't be traded for a year we can complete the deal for Future and the future being Kesler Can the Nucks really trade Kesler ...

Avs win 7-5. Sakic with #600 into the empty net. These 2 teams now take a night off, and play again on HNIC. Then we get the Avs on Sunday (the 3rd in 4 nights for them, back to back & have to travel). Then back in Denver for another contest. Definitely Go Avs Go!!!(except Sunday, of course) Congra...

Out Of Town Scoreboard Watch

With the stretch drive here now, maybe some people would like to talk about some out of town scores. Tonight (02/15/07): Edmonton loses 2-1 in overtime to Buffalo. http://www.sportsline.com/nhl/gamecenter/live/NHL_20070215_EDM@BUF The other big game tonight has Calgary vs. Colorado. Never thought I'...

He wasn't good in his first game tonight. Flames lost 7-4, but it wasn't anywhere near that close. Stuart was a -4 at one point tonight, but I don't know how he ended up as the Flames added a trio late. I watched the game on yahoo sports, and both of their new players were forgettable. It was an aw...

I think this trade is brilliant only because of the conditional 1st rounder. I have no idea how Sutter coaxed Chiarelli into it. Chiarelli is an idiot if it's a 1st rounder. Isn't it usually a conditional going to the other the other team if the player does sign (i.e. the conditional 2nd if Cloutie...

That would be a wonderful achievement for Trevor! I always thought that there were more thousand point men in the NHL. How many would there be? Less than 50 perhaps. Even future Hall of Famers like Forsberg (granted he's always injured) will probably not make that mark. Niether Orr (short career) no...

To me this looks like Messier is trying to push Sather out, but saving face while doing it. A good chance Sather will be fired this year if they don't make the playoffs and enter the snake...er Messier, err Giant Douche , you guys get the picture. That's how I see it too. I thought he and Sather we...

Is that because every other team in our division is going to go 29-17?

Enough bullshit.
No it was just a projection for the team to reach a supposed 95 points.

30-16 To Make Playoffs

It's a bit early but If we assume that to make the playoffs this you need 95 points then the Canucks will have to go 14 games over .500 to make the playoffs. The way this team is playing it does not seem very likely, but one can only wish... I think we will need Luongo to be absolutely brilliant wit...
