Re: Playoffs

Tom Wilson, TBL Paquette etc showing why you need some big gritty dudes with the tangibles to fight out a series, something analytics types wish they can measure in their stats, but never will. Even Jets and Vegas (Reaves) have some heavy hitters to help their depth and skill guys out. Meanwhile th...

TYLER Myers born and raised in America. He’s Team Canada’s version of Adam Deadmarsh. Myers grew up in Calgary and played his hockey in Canada, much like Stastny was born in Canada but grew up and played his hockey in the US. While we’re at this wanna tell me how many Canadians are on the Vegas ros...

Re: Playoffs

Come the off season the NHL Board of Governors can convene and put forward a new rule requiring Brad Marchand wear a condom over his tongue to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. It would also make it harder for him to beak off or at least make him difficult to understand, which referees an...

Re: Vancouver's Hockey "Media"

So what station is going to run the games and hockey talk in bc? NW98? 650 am has the games still. They just killed 1410 for American Sportstalk. So now all we get is local guys talking about a horrendous hockey team, a beer league soccer team and a bush league football team in an eight team league...

TPS Turku lost 6-5 in OT to Tappara and have been eliminated from SM Liiga playoffs. Olli Juolevi had 2 assists in today's game and finished the playoffs with 2g 5a 7pt in 10 games. It will be interesting to see if he heads to Utica now or if he's planning one more season in Europe. Palmu scored tod...

Lipstick has shown why he has yet to earn a steady NHL role. The first couple of game we a mirage. Expect wild level of competition at the rookie camp and early on at training camp, but also expect cuts to be fast and furious. The abundance of kids and tweeners will make things interesting. Several...

Update on the forgotten 1st rounder, Olli Juolevi. First series that OJ's team is playing is TPS (2nd place) vs SaiPa (7th place). TPS leads series 3-1. OJ scored TPS's first goal in the series which was a 4-3 OT win for his team. Juolevi was also a +2 and logged 27 minutes in the game. Second game ...

All Pettersson needs to do is shut is down after the season and hit the gym - I think 3 or 4 months of strong gym work will lock the deal up for Pettersson to start the season he can easily gain 15 lbs of muscle in the off season. 15lbs of muscle in 4 months ? I checked, and DHA is not known to hav...

Well now we know why he played in the Vegas game. Head scratcher cause Vegas has a D surplus. Head scratcher cause how does this help the Canucks. Do not under estimate what this guy can bring. And, even next year. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=177644 This is just another reason I think we are ready to cut some ties at the end of this year. Word of caution on Adam Gaudette. In his last interview he stated he weighed 182 ...

Seabrook is only 32, he's not Sedin old, but I'm not surprised he's sucking large. A very overrated player given a ridiculous contract. I remember Bubbles saying he wouldn't mind trading for Seabrook not too long ago.
I’d trade Eriksson and Sutter for him
As would I.

Re: GDT: Canucks @ TOR - 4pm - CBC, NHLN-US, SN

lol Craig Simpson hates the Canucks Last season during the HNIC between these two teams Simpleton, er Simpson kept asking why WD wasn't using the Sedins more. Because they're old and done? In last night's game he whined and whimpered about the two penalties called on TO in the third period being we...
