Re: Canucks News n Notes 2019-2020

Sell high on Marky at the TDD and let Demko take over. Can move Eriksson for Reimer for him to be the vet to assist Demko. I think you protect Demko as the chance of losing Markstrom is not as high as some might think. Seattle needs 2x NHL goalies and can spend around $7m on two goalies (league ave...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

There must be a ton of threads & posts on Calpuck over the years deriding the Oilers for signing Lucic and Talbot... wonder what they're saying about them now? Can't see them being too vocal about Smith yet, since he was the Flames playoff goalie. Calpuck hates the trade, and is in meltdown. 60+ pl...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Puljujärvi was actually born in Sweden, not far from here, and has dual Finnish and Swedish citizenships. His parents are Finnish though, and they moved back when he was four. Incredibly, he does not speak any Swedish at all. Maybe Petey/Edler/Marx can teach him? Does that mean he could be t...

Tuna literally flopped aboard the Raptor bandwagon after game 4 of the finals, when they were up 3-1
I was attending Raptor games 20 years ago regularly.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Yeah that was kinda my point. That our bottom 4 forwards are sucking up WAY too much cap for their value (Beagle excepted) and we can't actually address legit roster needs without moving them out. It's okay, cap space doesn't matter during a rebuild :D :steps back: I know, I have always loved that ...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

I know it will never happen but I'd like a relegation system like the English Premier League; you'd need to overhaul the CBA to allow teams/players to get out of contracts or otherwise force relegated teams to move top players out of the lower league into the higher one. Re: The Brexit disaster

And also, Brexit seems like a very stupid thing to do. It will stymie the British economy for decades to come, if not permanently. Thus I feel sorry for the poor bastards living there. Half the country is Thema and Louise, happily driving their car off a cliff, the other half is locked in the trunk!
