Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

The foil for all this skill and speed will obviously be grit and push back. Its always a hell of a lot easier to acquire that on july 1st than the speed and skill angle. What do we have coming down the pipe for grit though? Gadjoyovic? Is Lockwood gritty? Gaudette? Gadjovich is about it. Maybe MacE...

Absolutely critical that this team made a major push for the playoffs, this year.
Lol they are nowhere near making playoffs with this scabby roster. You could add both Hanifin and Bouchard and they still aren’t within a dozen points of a wildcard.

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

Hughes is not 5'-10" SKYO. After seeing him at the WJC I now question his listed height of 5-9". He looked a lot smaller than 5'-9" - 175 lbs. I simply have a hard time using a top 10 pick on a "defencemen" that tiny. I don't care how skilled he is, he can't just be a PP guy or an overtime guy, you...

He’s not signing for less than 11. So you have 40 million or more ties up in four forwards. Can’t see it happening unless they trade Willy Nylander.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Yeah I doubt it happens, but Vancouver for some reason has ALWAYS been in the big game hunting business for UFA's, I guess Vancouver is a nice area to live if you can afford it aha, and now the team is brimming with high end prospects. Well he’s rumoured to be meeting with five teams. I haven’t see...

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

I do tend to get kidney stones though, but who knows what causes them... I hear they are like pissing razor blades. I’m still a couple years shy of 50 but it scares the hell out of me - shit like kidney stones, gall stones etc. Lots of ailments already. Both knees and right shoulder are riddled wit...

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

It is a tough day for Strangelove. His gout is flared up again and his size six earth pads are swollen up like a balloon, just like his belly. This is what happens when you live on a diet of homemade beer, oysters and crayfish. Hopefully Ol’ Strands will roll out of the rack later today and give us...

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

It’s called an ab shelter

Thing is I actually have abs under the blubber. You have as much muscle tone as Tony Gallagher underneath the Chris Farley build.

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

I have no problem with short people. Dude for whatever reason is adamant that I’m 5ft 10. 6ft all day, every day. He is riddled with back hair, with a pretty big shit bag, a few chins, tiny little bird legs, skinny Kermit the frog pipes and has slightly more strands than Doc. He could be 6 ft tall if...

Remember - Blob is 5’-11” and on record has said he floats between 230 lbs and 240 lbs.

In my mind, I see a picture of health
Yeah no. I said I hit that weight for a brief period. 6 ft 215 atm my friend
You’re not!

Try 5’-10-1/2” 225 lbs
If I’m 5 ft 10 you are you are 5ft 7.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

I think it’s a decent trade for both teams. I’m happy to see Ferland go. He absolutely abused Vancouver’s defence the last few years.

Never seen this before Tavares has planned to meet with Vancouver in the window of opportunity. https://thecanuckway.com/2018/06/10/vancouver-canucks-rumors-john-tavares-meet-team/ Citing a source, Eklund at HockeyBuzz.com is reporting that the perennial All-Star “ has planned to visit with Vancouv...
