Re: Francesco Ballard

I could give two shits if you think it’s bullshit.

Being a GM in the NHL isn’t a moderate paying job. Wake up

Re: Francesco Ballard

Yeah, I’m not getting good vibes from the Aquabros either - Frankie in particular. The difference is that Ballard was a cheapskate dinosaur. Frankie and his crew aren’t afraid to dig into their deep pockets and are open to new ideas (although more like distracted squirrels than anything else). Fran...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Not going to let Dude throw his dirty diapers around and pollute another thread. It’s about the 2019 draft. Any Islanders get a chance to see Alex Newhook play? Assuming this team doesn’t get any lottery luck, but they should still pick high due to a lack of NHL talent, he could be right in Vancouve...

Francesco Ballard

I have a feeling this Klown is the reincarnate of Harold Ballard.

He’s given the boot to some decent people and now seems to be running a puppet show with Paul Bearer as the lead. This shit will play itself out in the next 12-24 months.

Too bad he got the team over Gaglardi and Beedie.

Lol Gudbranson averaged 20 min a game that year. Quite right, he's a top-4 guy. :D In 2/7 seasons he has played top 4 minutes in the NHL. Hockey Reference is your friend. I've crushed this argument a few times and you've offered no response... His icetime shot up in the playoffs to 27 min due to a ...

Lol Gudbranson averaged 20 min a game that year. In 2/7 seasons he has played top 4 minutes in the NHL. Hockey Reference is your friend. His icetime shot up in the playoffs to 27 min due to a couple long ot games. He has been a massive disappointment here. I thought he was more like Dave Manson or S...

What if Gillis had drafted Karlsson instead of Stumpy Legs?
Would have been a great pick.

What is Elmer had drafted Tkachuk instead of Olaf

What if Elmer had drafted Pasternak instead of Virtanen?

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Nobody knows what the offers were. Where did you hear this offer? The Cobalt?

He’s a top 10 player in the NHL at 28. If he will agree to an extension the return could be huge.

I feel like I’m talking to a wall

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Lol if McCann is garbage, Gudbranson is an AHL player. I’ll take a guy who can score 30 points on the 3rd line making a million over a slug who is bottom pairing on a playoff team scores 8 points a year and makes top 4 money. But he has three or four fights a year I guess. Bonino wanted less ice tim...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Those three wins were pretty weak scraps. He ain’t exactly Iginla or Shanahan with the mitts off. Perhaps, but I was responding to Danny saying he doesn't fight/is a lousy fighter. And again: Job One is climbing inside people's heads and leaving steaming piles... not fighting. So many Canuck fans o...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

If youre gonna be good at only 1...at least elmer is nailing the most important True dat, but one could argue that the last two times we went to the Cup Final wouldn't have happened without some astute trading - Burke, getting the #2/3 picks, and Quinn with the St. Louis trade. So just being good a...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

I think you knew I meant points per game but if not..... Evander Kane returned a 2nd and 4th which became a 1st because the Sharks signed him to a deal. I probably should have said that all these players will net a good return which could become substantially better( especially in the case of EK) if...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

You make room for a top player in the game. Karlssons future salary wouldn’t be an issue for a decent GM to figure out. Then again good GMs don’t have payrolls riddled with garbage pulling in 3-6 million per on long term deals
