Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Miller (6'1", 218lb) put up nearly identical numbers to Bo Horvat (6', 215) until buried in Tampa depth last year. He and Bo are similar size and on similar contracts (Miller is $250K/yr cheaper than Bo with the same # yrs left on his deal). Miller returns to top 6 position he held with the Rags. M...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

I don’t mind Miller but yeah it definitely seems like he had his beer goggles on and lovers nuts for this certain guy. That's funny, there wasn't a single rumor of Benning going after Miller, but you have decided to adopt this narrative that he had beer goggles on for this certain guy. I mean, sure...

Re: Canucks Contracts

Hayes will make $7.14M until he's 34, Miller will make $5.25M until he's 30. Two other teams offered the same trade Canucks did (allegedly). Blob will piss and moan forever... Blob is trolling as per usual. It’s a lame comparison, but hey let him play in that sandbox for awhile. So blob prefers the...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Yeah we had to break away from that two and a half year rebuild mentality.

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Most GMs in west or the east would love to trade with Benning  Why cause every transaction comes with a complimentary 2nd or 3rd rounder FREE? No shit. I don’t even mind Miller as a player but the price tag sucks. Pretty much everywhere but here among a few klowns this deal is getting panned a...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

What gets lost in this is that there is a difference in a cap dump, Marleau, and in making a hockey trade to move cap, Miller. Yes Tampa needed to move cap but they knew the had Callahan coming off the books so that took a lot of pressure off to just dump a player. And yes, there were a few other t...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

The fact that the Devils picked up Pernell Karl for two 2nds while Lennie Small had a nap is hilarious. Rumour has it the Canucks offered the 2016 1st rounder ( Habs wouldn’t have likely shit the bed and chosen Razor Thin Olaf), Bo Horvat and Chris Tanev for Pernell Karl three years ago. Lennie Smal...

Re: Canucks 2019-2020 line-up

It’s basically a 4 goal pace per 82 games. So if they make the playoffs during his four years here we can count on a goal every 20 games.

Blob says “draft and develop” as a solution to finding immediate help for the top 6.
Lol why does it need an immediate fix? Lennie Small has had six years. Just want only this specific problem tomorrow? You’re as sharp as a beach ball.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

Barrie would be the best possible dman that i can think of to improve that back end (who have been rumoured about). That would've been my choice for that 1st rounder if it was ever an option...which it sounds like wasnt enough for BBY Joe. What will he cost after next year? I've heard 8 for 6 or 7....

Re: Canucks Contracts

Talking about what the Flyers gave up ... why the red herring regarding the Jets? The Flyers basically acquired Hayes negotiation rights after the season ended before Hayes was to become a UFA. The Jets rented him for the playoffs only and were in no position to resign him this off season with Conn...
