I think Bergeron/Marchy/Pasta will rebound in game 7.
Could happen but that line looks rather tired compared to the first 4 games.
Boston relies on 1 line far more than the Leafs. this might be showing it's benefiting the Leafs with a long series. Boston does not have the same depth or speed.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Down 2-0 and everyone celebrated it was over and Kadri got suspended for 3 games and Bruins have had most of the bounces and calls in thsi series.
Being in Boston is their advantage but we do have the momentum. Boston blew a massive opportunity with 6 straight PPs at home and lost in game 5.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Every team has 22-24-year-olds putting up Johnsson-like numbers in the AHL. This year Canucks have Goldobin and Boucher ... and you won't see anyone here saying either of those two could replace a JVR next year. :scowl: I mentioned Leivo as a recent Leaves' one, and now you mention Brown... thank y...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Bye Bye JVR and Bozak, Hello more minutes for Jonsson and Kapanen. Also Bye Bye Plekanec and wave to Ole Man Marleau as he slowly fades away. Those four guys have 8 of the Leaves 13 goals in these playoffs. But I'm sure Johnsson (2 points) and Kapanen (0 points) will magically replace that with a f...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Poor Tuna How's that defence Tuna? Oh yeah, now you see why the Ducks got tired of Andersons playoff choking. Regular Season Anderson they call him Good luck fixing that D, Tuna. Nothing wrong with the job Doug Weight has done there.

Snow on the other hand.... should probably get the hook
Have you seen their defensive play?

Jays look stupendous eh?
Well it's not like anything was expected. The Jays have the worst hitting in MLB.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Brock Boeser: 62 GP, 55 PTS, 0.89 PPG, 17:30 TOI Mitch Marner: 78 GP, 69 PTS, 0.90 PPG, 16:20 TOI With a bigger sample size now, Mitch has surpassed BB with less ice-time. And the great thing is, the Leafs have Matthews as well as Nylander besides Marner. Not the best situation in the NHl you say? O...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Another thing you were wrong about is Morgan Rielly. A true #1 Dman with 50 points and incredibly tough QOC usage. A true #1 Dman.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

But is Laine better than Marner? 2017-18: Marner: 78GP, 69 PTS, .884 PPG Laine: 77GP, 68 PTS, .883 PPG Marner: 23 goals, .28 GPG Laine: 43 goals, .56 GPG Marner: 6'0" 170 lbs Laine: 6'5" 206 lbs Only a Leaves fan would choose Marner over Laine... Crazy the Leafs have M/M/N all 20 and 21. They are i...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

As is now becoming clear, Laine is better than Mathews !   I knew this from the beginning. More of a Captain type guy too. You have "ONE" kick at the can, this year. By next year, it all starts to go back to shitsville again and eventually, Mathews will get a move to the US which is...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

I always said Marner needed more ice-time and better linemates. He is on a 100 pint pace since he joined Kadri.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

But if you calculate in the aspects of his game that he appears to have limited or next to no control over and the escalating suspensions, and duration of them I, for one, would surmise in a very short period of time, 30 markers will be impossible and the price for the player too high. I must have ...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

So Doc Kadri is going to hit 30 goals again. At 4.5 million per he is overpaid, right?
