Re: What changes should we make for next season?

Wow, why are so many of you writing of Hodgson already? How about giving him at least one full season in the NHL to adapt and show what he can do. Boston put Seguin on the wing even though he is a centre, no reason Vancouver cannot do the same with Cody. I would put him on the wing with Kessler and ...

Re: What changes should we make for next season?

No need for major overhaul, unfortunately teams often have to lose in the finals before they win it. The Canucks simply ran out of gas, due to injury for the most part. I would not bring Salo back next season mainly because of chronic injuries, and age as well. I would expect Hodgson to at least be ...

The nucks are at least equal to last seasons team, probably better. Hopefully the suggestion that Demitra is very competitive is correct and that it is infectious. I dont mind Sundin for 2yrs, the money is a tad nuts, but the guy busts his balls out there and is a diffrence maker. The next couiple w...

I would stay away from Cole, injuries seem to follow that guy like body odor at the end of game day. :mex:

Maybe because AV treated him rather poorly, press box and significantly less ice time. As for MG, Gillis was not here duruing Linden's playing career.
The best thing for Linden is to take a step back and take some "Me" time. He will be back with the Nucks in the near future.

Like I have always said in my line of work...sometimes people just don't get it if you do not drop an F bomb on them. :mex:
No worries, I am sure Brian will realize that you were just saying what a bunch of us were thinking.

Bourdon, Bourdon, Bourdon...obviously he is not there yet, however if the coach would give the guy some top 4 minutes you would see a the emegence of the next great defencman in the NHL. :mex:

I would consider this after next season, we have Luongo under contract for 2 more years. I would rather see some upgrades via UFA, RFA, and trades for next season. It is pretty tough to win the cup without a top goaltender. Perhaps next season DN /AV should give the back up role to Schneider...

Here is one, how about Kesler, Burrows, and Hossa for a #1 line. Burrows and Kesler are improving and have shown that they can score. Clearly they have also shown they are adept at hitting and "name calling", they could call it the nasty and nice line. :mex:

Malone, Vrbata, and Laraque and Fedotenko are the 4 I would go after. Fill the rest of the spots with home developed prospects. I would also resign BMOat about 2mil per.
Then I sit AV down and tell him "geet er done" or you are done. :mex:
