Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft

It is a tough day for Strangelove. His gout is flared up again and his size six earth pads are swollen up like a balloon, just like his belly. This is what happens when you live on a diet of homemade beer, oysters and crayfish. Hopefully Ol’ Strands will roll out of the rack later today and give us...

In my mind, I see a picture of health

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Hamilton is one of those enigmas. Puts up decent numbers but teammates, coaches and management aren’t crazy about him

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Gotta say, like this one for Calgary

Apparently Hamilton is an A-hole for a teammate. Fox a decent prospect, Ferland whatever. To get Lindholm and Hanafin for that? Not bad

Re: 2018 NHL DRAFT - Who does JB take.

Like Lockwood, Woo is going to have to learn to pick his spots more when going for the hits. Reckless abandon results in unnecessary injuries. Try reading the scouting reports, he isn’t reckless abandon like Virtanen and Dumba were in junior. He’s always on the right side of the puck and is very sm...

Re: 2018 NHL DRAFT - Who does JB take.

Woo is smart, doesn’t run around looking for hits and rarely takes penalties due to his excellent positioning and gap control. Always on the right side of the puck. His head is on a swivel when retreiving pucks He was having a very good season before hurting his shoulder, came back and was asked to ...

Re: 2018 NHL DRAFT - Who does JB take.

Going D on the first two picks in a D heavy draft class sets us up to go forward in a forward heavy draft class in 2019 Vancouver!

Hughes, Newhook, Dach, Cozens, Kakko, Krebs etc., one more lottery draft for us then the playoffs beyond. Now let’s unload vets for 2019 picks!

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

With the trade today that the Caps made they will sign Carlson. I’m betting he is off the market. JT will decide in the next 24 hours if he will do his city visits next week. If I’m him, unless the Islanders knock his socks off, I’m doing the city visits. Even then, money is not his number one prio...
