Re: Karlsson, Myers, None or ... ? Poll

Is Ernest Borgnine going on about UFA placement holders who are not an issue with the cap now and in the future when this young core group Benning is meticulously and deftly assembling takes flight, again

Re: Jim Ignitowski Benning

Can't help myself from doing this, cause i still get pissed off about it: - Juolevi selected instead of Matthew Tkachuk Tkachuk with 26 frikin goals. And here's another tidbit: - Jarred McCann traded for Gudbransen McCann with 15 goals Thats a lot of offence man. In fact im inclined to say, this is...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Hey guys why is Marner picking now (playoff season) to fall in the standings? He was in the top 5 not too long ago Brayden Point vs Mitchy Mouse Marner? Point all the way. Fantastic player!!! Who gets more money? Kucherov Stamkos Point Vs Matthews Marner Tavares What 3 are you picking? Tampa all the...

How does a healthy Baertschi change the landscape of this otherwise tough season of Canuck hockey? Horvat’s running mate, does Horvats numbers reflect the absence of his wingman and are we better in the standings???

We gave up a major young asset for Horvat
It was for a top 10 pick.

He sucked at drafting and everyone knows it.

Why are you still flogging away on this?
Hdub was making excuses for the worst drafting GM in hockey history

Re: Karlsson, Myers, None or ... ? Poll

My suggestion - don’t draft Cotton Hill Hodgson and his stumps for legs and draft one of Myers or Karlsson instead and hope for the hometown discount??? Or draft Pastrnak and Kopitar Idiots Gillis LOVED the analytics on Cotton Hill, went on and on about. Gillis so ahead of the curve Would love to s...

Re: 2019 NHL ENTRY DRAFT - Vancouver

Gillis I think is mostly right. Most GM’s that talk about will tell you that after the first round it’s down to your scouts. Benning is one of the few exceptions and that is a product of his background and true love, scouting. But he also says that after the first 1-3 rounds he relies heavily upon ...

"So Hutton, Tanev, Virtanen for Nylander + ______?" Skyo - if we move Hutton and Tanev, yet sign Karlsson the team will still be horrendous on the back end. Move anyone other than Hutton as we need him to play 4 - 6 in the rotation. As TI will still be hard up against the cap send them the 2020 1st...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

Too bad the conference was so bad that the thought of making the playoffs impacted the right long term decisions to be made. That's one hell of an excellent point, right there, Reef. It’s like accidental intelligence, he stumbles into unwittingly on rare occasions, savour the moment, for it’s quite...
