There is no reasonable way to make this work without giving up prospects. Even then we would have to unload cap space to pick Forsberg up. Who would we trade? Finally do we really want Forsberg? If we consider his injury history the answer to the last question should be no.

Ha !
I said that it would either be Hitchcock or Clarke to be the first coach or GM fired this year.

We cannot let a_#holes like clarke screw us like this. Giving in and signing Kestler for $1.9million would set a dangerous precedent not just for tactics like this but for the pay scales of mediocre players like Kesler. It does not matter how good Kesler WILL be one day he is not worth $1.9million n...

I say Danrickson is the MVP. That line has feasted on the opposition.

I hate to say it but I don't think we are going any where in the playoffs unless we make a good trade. I doubt Nonis will find the right deal or get a good offer. I predict that we will get knocked out in the first round regardless of the opponent.

I am just glad that they are doing something about the clutching, grabbing, and hooking. I just wish they would let up on the penalties for incidental contact, and clean hits. They could also can Kerry Fraser, or at least stuff a sock in his whistle.

While I agree that it is too early to tell I am getting tired of the parade to the box (especially exemplified by the last two games). How much real 5 on5 hockey can be played when there is 15 penalties a game? I hope the players will adjust and play cleaner so less penalties will be called. I am ge...

All they need to do is be consistent. Either they call it or they don’t. Past experience says the NHL has totally lost all credibility in this area So because they seem to have made a decision to crack down on obstruction it is their chance to regain the confidence of the fans by actually consiste...

Apparently Naslund said the same sort of thing. He said he has played without the centerline and it does not change the game. What it will do is force your defense that might normally jump up into the rush, to stay back to cover long outlet passes. I think the biggest improvement as far as goal scor...
