Good signing. At this point Demitra is better than Naslund in every respect and 4 mill is very reasonable. Gillis said that the offer to Sundin would remain on the table for however long it took Mats todecide, so I think we are done tinkering until Sundin makes a decision. If he comes to Van we are ...

It may not be logical to take on Bertuzzi's salary and baggage, but I wouldn't be disappointed if Gillis did. In light of a 56m salary cap Berttuzzi-Naslund-Mo/Wellwood/? still has the potential to be an effective line for ~20% of the cap. Naslund would probaly sign a 1year contract if this was the ...

Good pickup imo, considering he came free. He had injury problems last year and was playing in the most dysfunctional siuation in pro sports. Change of scenery, time to heal and something to prove. Sounds like a good candidate for Gillis' player development project. The guy has shown he has ability ...

Not for the price he is sure to command. When healthy  we have a very solid Dcorp with good young talent coming up. Campbell is a good offensive Dman but he is not a franchise #1 guy, which he is probably going to get paid. For the money I'd rather get Jovo back. Imo the only way we get anothe...

I'd take a chance on him if he could be had for a reasonble price. More of an offseason move though imo. SJ doesn't need cap room so I doubt they dump him cheaply, only if its a good hockey trade.

Personally I think Mitchell is way over rated. Solid player for sure, but there are a tonne of stay at home Dmen that I would take over Willie in a fantasy draft.

I think Nonis has done a pretty decent job on deadline day the past few years. Hindsight is always 20/20 but nonis has always done a few deas on deadline day. They weren't of the blockbuster type, but always resonable value obtaining guys that woulda/shoulda/coulda helped the cause. As others have m...

Yeah I can't really figure out what is going through AV's head by not putting Linden in the lineup on at least a semi regular basis. Trev is definately not an all star anymore but his experience, versatility and clutch play has to be more valuable right now than some of the scrubs we've been dressin...

As a veteran with a pretty good resume I don't think Mo's salary is at all out of line compared to other guys around the league. If he wants to go the ufa route I think there are a lot o teams who would give him a raise. He is a vbery solid two way player, good wheels, extremely durable. Not a star ...

I always liked him as a canuck but when Phoenix signed him I remember thinking thank Christ DN didn't drink that kool aid. He peaked during his years in Vancouver and I'm glad we didn't resign him.

He got a good look. Not ready to be an impact player yet but down the road he should be an NHL player. Could be the next Morrison type player. Has the wheels and shows good awareness. Definately a serviceable call up if his body is durable.

Shannon has shown enough that I wouldn't want to give him away on waivers. Isn't quite ready for top 6 spot imo so I guess there wasn't much of an option for DN.

Enough shown tonight to be encouraged, but the team is still in pre season form. Special teams have looked good so far, especially PK. Still think we are too thin up front. Gonna need our vets to all have contract years and stay healthy. A genuine top six winger to go with the twins would be just wh...

Allen really would have fit in well on the new team. I was hoping they could have brought him back as a free agent but I guess FLA really needed to have something to show for giving up Luongo.

cheap depth acquired through waivers. Can't have too high of expectations. Then again, his predecessor almost made the all stars :P
