Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Does it seem like we have problems maintaining pressure in the offensive zone? Also of note, first pass out of our zone is usually pretty bad. Which I mean is what we were all expecting. Still excited to hit the Jackpot. It does and it is. Seeing a great pass out of the D-zone (like Pouliot’s to Bo...

I keep forgetting that boat anchor plays on the team. He is rarely mentioned after a game. Time to move him now. I think they would if they could. Not sure anyone would be interested in that boat anchor of a contract without sweetening the pot substantially. Re. last night, I do think that having P...

Re: GDT: Canucks vs Pens, Oct.16/18, 4:00pm, SN1

Worked so hard to gain the coach's trust. JV & Bhutt both lose it in a blink of an eye. If that’s the case then may as well do the Willie and join hands and play red rover. Yeah, I sure hope it isn’t. Jake has worked pretty hard and seems to be improving. Don’t want to see him lose the little confi...

Where are Doc and Topper..... pffft doubt they watch more than highlights  Shhhhhh.... That doesn’t align with their narrative. Definitely notice the increased speed in the Canucks. Seems to be giving the other teams some difficulty. Wish Pettersson was back but nice to see Guadette ge...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

And the Gagner story discredits that storyline - it suggests that the chain-of-command has Benning calling Aquilini after the decision has been made, and being given the opportunity to explain the decision to Aquilini. I may have mis-heard, but what I understood from the Aquilini interview was that...

Imagine this d group minus Tanev  Doubt that happens There’s a wizard on this board that thinks the D is just fine. It’s all the coaches fault I honestly cant think who has a weaker d league wide Blob. Theres help coming but right now its all stems and seeds For all the folks here who’ve hacke...

Nice redemption for Jake. Don't wanna see him in the doghouse this early in the season.

EP living up to expectations so far.

Team looks completely different than the one in preseason.

Yes it does. I think we will need to see about 20 or so games to actually know what we have in the team. Give the new players some time to adjust and the coach some time to get to know them.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

So a year of no C. Kind of glad they didn’t saddle Bo with it in what could be a pretty tough year. Leadership by committee seems like the best way to go in this instance. Not sure if “Foundation” should have an “A” over Beagle though. https://www.nhl.com/app/canucks/news/vancouver-canucks-opening-n...

I really don't know why Green wouldn't try Granlund on top 2 lines.

Because he sucks
Which is unlike LE how?

Re: Canucks camp & preseason 2018/2019

sad to say, the lineup doesn't get much better than that How could you forget about our foundational shut-down centre Brandon and offensive dynamo Loui? Those guys are game-breakers! In all seriousness, I agree, this is probably pretty close to the opening night line-up give or take a cou...

Gaudette has had some good moments.

Other than that, it's pretty slim pickin'.

Not quite as excited about this group. Still, will be nice to see Palmu, Lind, guadette and Gadjovich

Anybody know the scoop on Woo? Is he still injured?
Woo is out for duration of camp. Expected back to junior in a couple of weeks. He had a “minor” procedure.
Thanks, Wids.
