Re: LOL

The Benning Hate Crew over at Canucks HF have disappeared, lol. What’s left of them, the remnants, are consoling each other’s nuts sacks in the “ProTank” thread I ventured over to that pro tank thread, and a certain poster there would “gladly” trade petterson and our first to get rid of Benning.....

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

There is one thing most are forgetting here about rebuilding the defence. There most certainly will be an expansion draft in 2020 with Seattle all but confirmed to have been given a team. If the same rules hold for the next expansion draft, then each team will be allowed to protect three D-men with...

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

I’m afraid I agree with blob here, gaunce is fine for a bottom 6 call up, greens familiar with him and he’s defensively sound. I’d rather leave Schaller and Granlund playing with bo, both have showed the ability to create offense.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

If Hutton keeps up his play and can solidify himself as a number 4 guy or at least a reliable 5 that can carry a bottom pairing, he’ll have good trade value, but also a good option to re sign for cheap, I think edler could also be re signed for cheap. Pouloit I think is the odd man out and with Quin...

Re: The Rebuild...

To me, Tryamkin is still the most exciting defensive prospect in the franchise. He was such a physical beast that he didn't need to arrive in shape, or get in fights or try to play "physical". He has the physical power to just destroy opponents without much effort, and nobody could fight him for re...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

You know who would have really looked good next to petterson? Evander Kane.... I think i might quietly see whats out there in a trade for a tough as fuck half ass skilled winger to play with EP. See if theres a market for gudbranson. We cant afford to have every team taking runs at the kid with no ...

Re: The Rebuild...

Pouloit looks like he got the memo, he may turn into something, he’s been playing with a ton more confidence this year. I thought he would've panned out better than a #5/6 when we acquired him but maybe hes a late(r) bloomer. He was a fairly highly touted prospect that fell from favour...to a degre...

Sometimes you have zero time to get your forehead down properly and it goes off your face.

I played a lot of soccer and never had that problem.
Me neither but I got a neck the size of a tree trunk from playing football

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 18-19 Sponsored by SKYO

SKYO still trading our only 2 legitimate NHL Defenceman - Tanev and Edler? Trust me, SKYO. Those two aren’t going anywhere ONLY trade em if we are out of the playoffs in February and the offer is too good to turn down , otherwise keep em. No player should be untouchable really except your high end,...

Hopefully virt and roussel run the shit out of ekblad and barkov next game. Who cares about matheson, make their stars pay that’s the new nhl.

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019

Aquilini on the state of the Canucks: - It isn't going to be easy but we have to be realistic. There are no short cuts in this game and right now it is about building a core with this club and wanting to win together. - Patience is not easy. But, we have to work with what we have. I think we have a...

Brobovsky next year to hold the spot for dipietro, with demko backing him up. If demko proves he’s a starter we trade him for a return similar to jones to a team out east (I’m thinking Boston with tuuka rask starting to age now). I see demko needing at least a year as backup after this year.

Re: Tracking the top Centre

Petterson will have more success as a center, less work along the boards, and he’s shown he’s a relentless back checker with probably the best stick on the team
