So, who has had the worse luck this year? Kessler or Rypien? A pity as both guys are heart-and-soul players. Gotta give that dubious honor to Rypien - At least Kesler got to play 2/3 of the season and made a cushy paycheck. Though, you really have to feel for the guy for getting hurt immediately af...

Well, Phoenix has been competing with Chicago, Columbus and until recently, the Isles and Rangers for worst run team in the league for years now. No direction, no young talent, no success. Their cliquey buddy system was a joke, and it's for the best of the organization that they gut it. I hope Wayne...

The biggest problem is the injuries. I'd like to see his minutes cut just a little . Perhaps if he wasn't worked so hard night in and night out A.V would get more out of him in the long run. Salo doesn't get ridden nearly as hard as the rest of our top 4. He's usually below them in ice time, and us...

Defensively responsible? I sure didn't see that when he got taken to school by Brown last night. The fact is, Naslund is playing heartless, sulky hockey. When a player gets demoted to the 3rd line, it's supposed to motivate him, not make him sad. I agree that Naslund needs better linemates, but it d...

So was just reading through a review of last night's game on ESPN.com and found that good ol' Quenneville seems to agree with me: "Luongo is big for their team and they have a lot of confidence playing a patient game because of him." source: http://scores.espn.go.com/nhl/recap?gameId=270327017 :-) ...

Actually, they don't break easily. In fact, they last much longer, The problem lies in that you can't detect the stress breaks like you can with wood, leading to breaks at inopportune momentsRobert wrote:tuzzi44 wrote:
As always though there is a tradeoff, and we know what that is... they break easy.

What I would do is give him a magic feather. I'd say, "Marcus, this is a very special feather. It's the same feather that gave Jari Kurri the ability to score so many goals (Wayne Gretzky is a figment of your imagination). If you put this feather in your jock, you'll be the greatest goal scorer the ...

So all of a sudden BXA could be our #1 defenseman. Wow, as much as I like the guy that is kind of scary. Oh well, good to get this little bout of injuries out of the way before the playoffs. Well, Bieksa has consistently led in ice-time, played against top opposition lines, #1 pk unit, and 1st or 2...

With Mitchell out (Salo too now, ouch), you're shifting a lot of the defensive burden on to Ohlund. Playing against top opposition players, you're doomed to falter occasionally. I grant you that Ohlund maybe isn't the player we've seen in the past, but I'd still say his performance in relation to hi...

I'm actually glad that we suffered a kick in the ass from another western team. I wish that kick didn't injure Willie Mitchell's groin, though. :( Who knew Willie's groin would mean so much to us? Oh Willie....may your groin enjoy a swift and fluid recovery. Luckily we employ some of the top traine...
