Someone on TSN recommending the Leaves sign the lil trojan Go ahead, make my day. Omg did you happen to hear JD Burke going on about the likely loss of Stecher this morning on 1040? The way he was going on you'd think it's cataclysmic. He touting all these fancy stats but all I saw was a fire drill...

Lou laughs at Tavares and "the Shanaplan". And so do I.
I also laugh at you Tuna.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO

I don’t like the term for Matthews or Marner but the annual cap hit is inline- albeit at the top of the spectrum because they voiced the Leaves for every dollar and only took five year deals. Cap-hit and term go hand in hand. Matthews $11.6M X 5 years is equivalent to $14M X 8. Again, McDavid is th...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

I guess they let Muzzin walk Another 1st round pick wasted. (See Marleau). The ELC’s of first round picks are always important to teams jammed to the cap. Dubbed-An-Ass don’t get it. I guess they are hoping all those cheaper smurfs like Petan and Bracco will help in this manner. The ones who will b...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Would PM be a bit younger than myself? Like around 47, 48 ish? Has two older brothers initials MM, AM? Irish family? Another tough fucker was MK a year ahead of myself. He did a year in jail for bashing a pallet over a biker’s dome as an 18 year old kid in the late 80s outside Frisco’s Beer & Wine ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Fact Checked for Accuracy: Willy Woozle was located in Westwood Mall. It was a staple of this glorified strip mall from the time of Kmart through Liquidation World (or whatever it was called) and made an excessively processed yet incomprehensibly delightful bacon cheese dog that consisted of: weine...

Doyle grew up on a regular diet of Frosted Malts and Hot Dogs bought at Willie Woozles in Coquitlam centre where he bullied handicap kids at Toys R Us. Doyle reached 5’-10” 247 lbs at the age of 13 just before highschool Fact Checked for Accuracy: Willy Woozle was located in Westwood Mall. It was a...

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Just caught the last five minutes of that game, had no idea what was happening beforehand. How terrifically enjoyable and as a bonus, i eould imagine that will keep this place fish free for at least a couple of day. Best part is hes a leaves employee and ill wager hes a leaves fan too. I dare to dre...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO

Sorry to digress a bit but I don't think it can be overstated that Lou-ser is currently statistically superior to only 8 - that's eight - players in the entire nhl this season. That list of 754 includes many players who are now inactive for any number of reasons. It also does not include goalies, te...

And that was 20 years ago! factor in the inflation on a 6M contract from 2000. That's probably an 8 or 9 mil contract in today's nhl. The that pole came clearly came back out out the franchise's mouth.

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO

Yeah Gaudette deserves full time but with Green he’s stubborn smd loves Schaller, Leivo and Motte. The team isn’t very fast so taking Virtanen out isn’t wise. That’s why Motte gets a spot. Roussel is definitely a starter. A healthy lineup will be a challenge for Green but Eriksson is done if we are...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO

Leivo's gotta go, Gaudette and Virtanen over Leivo and Motte imo. Messier could at least play AND the failure only lasted half of the ordeal we are currently enjoying. You're forgetting, Messier was still taking the money of canucks fans until 2012 . Messier was paid $6 mil x 3 years, then $2 mil t...
