IMO, that one decision has improved the quality of programming ...

Too much money for a guy who likely isn't a top 20 defenceman. He is a pretty good player but not 7 million for 7 years good. Really he is marginally better than Cody Franson but the mean streak and big hits aren't worth an extra 4 million per season. I love how people justify a bad contract by sayi...

Have you listened to B Mac and Taylor ? They are even worse than Jake and Pratt.

Who the hell would want Nick Schultz at that kind of money ? A bottom pairing guy at best but they obviously couldn't find any takers for his rotten contract.

Good trade for Calgary. They get a decent 4/5 d man who will have more value at the deadline. They gave up a couple scrubs for a legit player. Maybe they move Giordano or Wideman at the deadline and get back a nice young player back. Gives the team options to help in the rebuild.

B Mac alone is fine. Taylor is an aquired taste. Kind of agree about the lack of on air talent though. Bring back Al Davidson , Neil Macrae, JP Mcconnell, John Mackeachie, Barry Houlihan, Howie Meeker, Chris Hebb, Dave Hodge, and Gene Kinisky .

Calgary is an absolutely hideous city. The place looks like Baghdad or Beirut and is likely the only city in the country that is uglier than both Edmonton and Toronto.
